I agree no team is perfect. But the teams that have the tools to hamper this offense are here. I don’t like having a qb that is so easily confounded. And a qb like that who has gotten overconfident on the weak concerns me in the playoffs. Again it’s the losing the same way that concerns me.

He is the opposite of Lamar. He wants to hit the long ball and short he suffers. He isn’t quick enough to elude the rush to find the target anymore.

But in the losses I see the same characteristics at play. Get us into must pass plays and let Lamar get frustrated.

For a good run Wilson was effective. Keeping fields in to learn may have been the smart long term play.

That is my point with their offense. If they could score a little more and hold the ball a while to keep their d off the field I don’t think they break.

If cle had a 50% more competitive offense we are losing this. Our offense is not that complicated. You just need to have the right kind of rushers up front. Get our offense in 2nd and long where Lamar is not that good.
