Why would he take a cut? The ravens were the morons who inked a bad deal. They are the ones who kept going to him to redo his deal for more cap space.
-
We are hurting all over the line. I hope they can draft someone at 30 who can play OK LT as a rookie. If not Makerii will be the guy and that spells disaster. Both guards are FA and we will probably lose at least 1. But OG is doable as a mid round pick. We might have to bite the bullet and ride out a bad Stanley for 24. In that case get the best guard available.
-
Its a deep WR draft. I would be cool with a day 3 possession guy.
-
In many ways this is a deep draft
-
So at 30 he is to high?

Monken is the to little to late part. Keeping Roman so long was the nepotism part.
-
He did make progress this yr. The problem is to little to late. He wasted at least 1500 hits on a system that didnt let him grow and expand his skillset. He is about halfway through his career and he finally made the first expansions of his skills. If they were going to be all in on Lamar them be all in on Lamar and dont keep that nepotism hiring train rolling.
-
It wont be 100% successful. That said with Lamar having limited progression skills it works enough to frustrate him.
-
I look at plays like the one where they sent the safety and Stanley was blocking him. There was no rush there. When Lamar started to break to the left to get out of the pocket the safety moved to keep that contained edge. Lamar then moved to the right back into the heart of the pocket. If memory serves someone else made Lamar throw it for nothing. That kind of rush non rush was going down all night. That is a very new kind of way to defend Lamar.
-
That transition I believe was been started 3 yrs to late.
-
Then we look at other QBs like Cam, McNair, Wilson, and McNabb where the hits pile up and they dont have that old player time to transition.
-
No they didnt. So often they would have someone leave their responsibility and try to get the sack and contain was blown. Also which I didnt mention not sticking with the run on their part.
-
Blitz him and keep him in the pocket and he self destructs. These DCs will start copying each other.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/nfl-mock-draft-commanders-oc-kliff-kingsbury-gets-qb-but-its-not-caleb-williams-steelers-cowboys-add-ots/ Seems like a reach. https://www.pff.com/news/draft-2024-nfl-mock-draft-senior-bowl https://walterfootball.com/draft2024charlie_1.php?rbTop I love what Im reading about the first 2 prospects. Brooks seems pretty light for 6 ft.

I believe it will get out in time. We know what OBJ said to Lamar already and that alone maybe the first clue who made the call.
-
So when Joe was asked to fling the ball all over the place when the team had a big lead in the 4th on several occasions ignoring Rice who said he would never let that happen again? When Lamar had a big lead in the 4th on several occasions and for some reason Roman decided to fling the ball to grab the L who acknowledged that? Seems to be 1 common denominator.

I havent seen it yet but that little synapsis is telling me turdy is scapegoating players and coaches. He never takes any accountability.
-
Let me use this as something of a rebuttal on the turdy issue. I only agree about 90% with him. This is the first thing I have ever seen from this guy but the algorithm popped him up.

I heard Weaver is the frontrunner to get the job.
