The NFC East and the AFC East may have the glamour reps and the big markets, but no division in the NFL last season featured three winning teams except the rough-and-tumble AFC North. The Bengals, Ravens and Steelers all finished above .500, and the hottest club of all at the close of 2009 were those last-place Cleveland Browns, who took a hope-inspiring four-game winning streak into the offseason. It was no fluke. Things have been that competitive within the division for a while now. The AFC North was one of only two divisions in the just-passed NFL decade to feature a pair of Super Bowl winners (along with the NFC South), and no other team in the conference has boasted either a pair of playoff teams or at least two 10-win teams in four of the past five seasons. With the Bengals, Steelers and Ravens all winning at least one North crown in the past four years, there's not another division in the AFC that can match its record of balance. Ravens trade for Seattle CB Josh Wilson
cravnravn replied to thundercleetz's topic in Baltimore Ravens
This is a huge getting Josh, with NE losing Bodden for the year, it couldnt of happened at a better time. -
My expectations are very high, but not unrealistic. With our O power we are a AFC representative in Dallas come February.
-
We have to give it to Cundiff (even though he cost us the Colts game) Graham costs more contract wise, but the FO did right in having this little competition with the kickers.
-
The Good--We held the Skids to 1.8 yards per rushing attempt. The Bad---We let McNappy throw for 206 yards IN THE FIRST HALF!!! The Ugly--Joe Flaccos 67 passer rating, he looked horrible yesterday.
-
Joe Flacco STUNK!!!!! Suggs is a beast, he is well on his mission. Our DB's, ehhhgaddds, if we dont sack the QB every play, we're in trouble.

It can be proven..And they are going to use the Ravens as part of the proof. We were the winningest team thru Nov-Dec in the 2000's, they are going to prove that the reason we were the winningest team was because we were fresh. But then again we were notoriuos for getting off to slow starts. Now in Harb's camp we might come out of the gate balls a blasting, but dont you want to save some of that energy for the Dec push? Its a double edge sword on what is better camp for the players.

No Billick's approach was a very bad one. It would get you nowhere. It got us a Lombardi and a parade in January..Look at the reason we lost the AFCC Game vs the Stealers, look at the injuries that day. Harbs better be careful. Not a lot of coaches hit in camp as he does.

Another Ravens offensive lineman was hurt Wednesday when right tackle Oniel Cousins was carted off the field at training camp in Westminster. The nature of his injury is unknown. Cousins was starting at right tackle for Jared Gaither, who was sidelined with a back injury. Tony Moll has replaced Cousins at right tackle. Other Ravens offensive linemen who are currently injured are center Matt Birk, tackle Stefan Rodgers, guard Daniel Sanders and tackle/guard David Hale. http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/blog/2010/08/oniel_cousins_carted_off_field_at_camp.html

Thats the #1 reason Rex did not get hired as HC of the Ravens.
-
Anytime Clayton is on the field or for that matter dresses, is a flat out insult to Stallworth.
-
Bulger Sucks, dont sugarcoat it!! We could of kept Bumpling Boller for 1/2 mil and Had the same result
-
Pay him a LT salary and the tear dissapears
-
I do not think this team is built to grab a ring. Imagine that??? Did ya have us at .500?
-
Hey Colin, check this out, dont know if you can get it or not across the pond https://gamerewind.nfl.com/nflgr/secure/registerform

He's a better option than Stallworth and he's one of the best #3 options any team can have. Yagaddebeshiddingme, Clayton is more known for his drops than his catches, creates no seperation from the defender..Id rather D-Wil, Td Taylor as our # 4 than Clayton..Clayton was a #1 draft pick, that held out mind you, and has done nothing to justify being paid as such.

Anyone see DWill catch the ball and run out of bounds for a one yard gain. There was no one around him! YES I DID!!! Comical, I turned to my Son and yelled WTF..
-
The penalty's irked the hell out of me we were hit with 8 yesterday. Im not keen with the idea of Cody in the backfield, Ngata yes since he has experience carrying the ball. Was that Pryce, Ngata and Cody on the front line for 1 play?? goodgooglymoogly that was beefesque. Man, Joe has matured, this is HIS team, he has total control of the O, its great to see, it reminds me of another great qb in Baltimore from years ago. Totally impressed with Willis, what a great series of 3 straight screens to Willis for positive yardage, then lored the D in only to hit Clayton with the bomb.. Leary of our DB's....
-
Yes he did bring back some nightmares
-
Alright, I'll accept that..Put man the 3 headed rushing attack would be sweet this year, especially with our passing arsenol.
-
No effin way hes ahead of Stallworth..How many chances does this kid need.. I was real pissed that Stallworth wasnt with the first team last night.
-
This exact team cost 2 managers their jobs, well maybe not the last dude since he was in interim mgr.
