  1. I'm not arguing against the music or video games being dirtier, because you're right, but what does it have to do with this?

Dont you think it has something to d with the hurling of beer cans, (full) into crowds..I think it has to do with the music and video games of this generation.

  2. Of all of the MLBers, A-Rod was the last person that I thought would turn to this. I remember this kid in high school on ESPN. He talked how he idolized Cal Ripken. He played the game with passion, he was a pure fielder, a pure hitter. He might have been a tad greedy with the Texas contract. But its turned into a business, nobody faulted Babe Ruth in the 30's when he was making 100,000, {Unitas made 7,500 in 1957}..

It saddens me, to hear that these guys cheat, 60's-94 there wasnt a bigger fan of the O's than myself, and of all of baseball. Back in the day, I hated the Yankees, but I loved watching Mickey Mantle.

This is getting as bad as the WWF, atleast in wrestling you know they are on roids.

I lost all interest in baseball in 1994 after they cancelled the world series..I wtched 1 game in all of 1995, and that was 2131. I still keep an ear to the radio listen to whats going on in the baseball world. Yesterdays news, I was in total shock, I couldn't believe what I was hearing, A-rod on the juice. And now you have to question how long he was on it, this kid was the youngest to get to 500 HRs, he was on pace to shatter Bonds tainted record to pieces.

Over the past 10 years, baseball has really went downhill, 1st Ralphy now A-Rod who's next Cal Ripken?

In 2000? I knew McGuire was juicing, just had a feeling.

Have an A-rod autographed baseball going cheap..

  3. No comments about video games of this generation??

    We had Pong.

3.50 for a beer is a bargain compared to 7.00 at the ATM..And as an avid horse player, I find the lines at the betting windows in the infield to be shorter and quicker then in the grandstand area. From the infield, no you cannot actually see a horse race, so thats why they brig in the projection screens.

Stop grasping for straws when comparing music, if Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is the harshest thing you can come up with, then the world would have been a better place.

    What can I say

  4. In a letter that will reach some fans as early as today, the Ravens are notifying season-ticket holders the prices of their seats will increase $5 to $15 per ticket for the 2009 season.

The majority of seats in the bowl of the stadium will increase by $10, and some upper-deck seats will go up by $5. The biggest bump of $15 is for some club seats and lower-level seating around midfield, which are the most sought-after tickets at M&T Bank Stadium.

In the letter, which was obtained by The Baltimore Sun yesterday, the Ravens say they need their average ticket price to be in the top third of the NFL to stay competitive.

The Ravens, who have increased ticket prices every other season since 2001, said the evaluation process was "very thoughtful and detailed."

  5. The one handed catch by Mason vs Jax..I was at that game, and thats the only play that came our endzone way..What a catch..

The telling point for me of our season came in week 4 at Pittsburg, we had the Boller moment where Pitts scored 14 points in 15 seconds..But then Joe led them to the tiing score to force OT..We lost, but inside, I said he just did that against a top 2 D in this league, it reminded me so much of 2000 when Dilf threw the pick 6 vs Tenny, and then lead us pack for a victory..It was special.

Every game just being glued on Ed Reed, you just knew he was going to do something special, and everytime he did, I was more amazed.

Smith to Flacco..The play book has finally been opened. Its going to be special for the Ravens for 10+ years to come.

  6. No we didn't...we did not behave...not there....

In my 3 in the infield visits, I dont recall 1 arrest, nor 1 fist fight..Drunks, yes..Its the now generation, and it is 100% contributed to Rap music. ZZ Topp, now thats music, come on Max I know you still have a doobie hidden in that house..
