  3. I agree with this, but I think the ravens will be in max protect too, due to harrison just tearing up our tackles. Its going to come down whether or not our wrs can get open. They have better wr, so i feel it will be tougher for us on both sides.

Lets not forget in the beginning of the year, Joe didnt utilize Todd Heap..Seems here of late he has, that'll slow Harrison down..Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeapppppppppp

  4. LAS VEGAS -- CC Sabathia will be a New York Yankee.

The Yankees are "very close" to a preliminary agreement with Sabathia on Wednesday morning, following an in-person meeting between GM Brian Cashman and Sabathia in California, a baseball source with knowledge of the deal told ESPN.com.

While a deal is not done, the source said there are "zero major road blocks" that would prevent the Yankees from reaching agreement with 28-year-old left-hander. Not all terms of the deal are agreed to yet, the source indicated. Sabathia also would need to take a physical.

In order to get the deal completed, ESPN the Magazine's Buster Olney reports that the Yankees added a seventh year to their original six-year, $140 million offer, bringing the total package to seven years and $160 million -- by far the biggest contract for any pitcher in history.

The New York Post first reported Wednesday on its Web site that Sabathia, the prize of this year's free-agent class, had decided to go with the Yankees after fielding offers from a number of teams.

  5. How do you define a player who can do almost anything imaginable on a football field, who can leverage a game with the ability to deliver two or three big plays every week?

How do you define Ravens safety Ed Reed?

By the 39 passes he has intercepted in his NFL career, five returned for touchdowns?

By the 11 total touchdowns he has scored over seven seasons?

By extraordinary return skills that produced touchdowns of 106 and 107 yards, and the two longest interception returns in NFL history?

By the havoc he creates on special teams, where three times he not only blocked a punt but also carried it in for a touchdown?

    43772757.jpg

By his well-known devotion to film study and attention to detail?

By his four Pro Bowl and three All-Pro selections?

One more question: What new titles are there for a player who can do all that?

    Derrick Mason has one.

    Superman.

  6. I am also curious about this. I heard some Cooley chants on TV, but that was all from the Skins fans.

Thats what Im referring to, I heard this Cooooooooo-leeeeeeeey chant after a reception and Im thinking WTF?

  7. And dont think for one minute that its not in the back of Joltin Joes unibrow brain, that he wants to show the Pittsburgh community that the Univ of Pitt made a costly mistake, (led by Dave Wanny and Cavanaugh) by not giving him a shot at the starting QB job at Pitt.

  8. A toddler lost in the Virginia woods was back home safe Sunday thanks to two puppies who kept him warm through a harrowing night of freezing temperatures.

Jaylynn Thorpe, 3, wandered away from his baby-sitter at 4 p.m. Friday and was missing for 21 hours as hundreds of friends, family and law enforcement officials searched for him in the thick woods of Halifax County, fearing the worst.

"The only thing we wanted to do was just keep searching until we found him," Halifax County Sheriff Stanley Noblin told reporters.

Jaylynn's frantic family knew time was not on its side.

  9. Admittedly, I wear very little Ravens gear unless I'm at the game (which is weird, since I have four jerseys). I wear a lot of O's/Caps/Dale Jr./Syracuse, but I can't stand purple, etc.

Should I change that for this week?

Yeah, you want my Black McGahee Jersey??
