If I have the book in front of me and the Kindle in front of me I'd much rather read the actual book. It just feels better. And lighter, the Kindle Fire is a bit front heavy for reading in bed. Im going to bang my face one night.

Thats really cool. I dont often watch, but Fallon does some funny stuff. I loved his Emmy opening from a couple years ago. Thats also a lot of singing for an actress who doesnt normally sing to do. I am sure she learned how to sing from her father, but I do not know if she ever has done it in front of an audience.

So do I. The majority of books I read are actual books but I appreciate ereaders too. I was partially won over because when I would go on vacations I'd be carrying a heavy bag of books and my wife had a dozen books on her less than a pound Nook ereader. Plus its cool to hear about a book and be able to start reading it in minutes if you want.

I don't know about the Blackberry but I have had a Kindle Fire since April and really like it.

I'm a huge fan, or I was. I love NHL Center Ice and watch a ton of games each week. I might be close to being done with the sport. Every CBA negotiations turns into a work stoppage. Its a joke with enough blame to go around. At this point I want a deal done so next year can start on time, I don't think I want a 40 game season or something like that.

Flacco needs to be better. He avoided making a big mistake and his numbers look decent but he did not have a good night IMO. A number of his throws were goofy decisions throwing into double coverage. And numerous times replays showed open players that Flacco didnt see or chose not to throw to. The Steelers are a good team, but their QB was not having a good night and the Ravens run defense was doing a decent job and yet the game was still in doubt until the end. If we don't get a special teams TD, do we even win? Oh well, a win is a win and 8-2 is damn good.

Naysaying and doomsaying doesn't really require facts to back things up. It just requires being quiet when you are wrong and posting "I told you so's" when right. Oh and then if called out on being a dick say you only act like that because someone was mean to you first years ago.

I admit I lean to the left but I have voted for Republicans numerous times and in presidential elections. I just couldn't bring myself to vote for any the current options due in part because of their stance on some scientific issues including energy, global warming, women's health, and evolution. If that doesn't change I cannot see myself voting for them any time soon. I was a skeptic on man made climate change for a long time and it bothered me that some reported it as fact long before enough data was in. I also think both sides cherry pick their data. Having said that, I always thought the science was sound (not that I am a scientist or anything) and as more information has come in in recent years I now believe. At this point (last I saw) its estimated that 98% of the worlds scientists agree with the theory that man is contributing to global climate change. One party, many politicians, and one faux news network still roll their eyes when its brought up and say that not everyone agrees its happening and we cannot force ourselves to change when the facts aren't all in. Are we seriously supposed to wait until 100% of scientists agree before we take it seriously? If so its not going to happen. I bet you can find one or two doctors out of a hundred who say smoking isn't bad for you. Its irresponsible to ignore a vast majority of scientific opinions and cling to a few in the minority as an excuse for inaction.
