Nascar is just cars going around in a circle to me, I'd just as happily head to a bridge overlooking 95 and watch the cars go by as I would be to watch a Nascar (or any auto) race. I have numerous friends and family who like it, so I am not putting it down. It just does nothing for me.

Absolutely. I am not sold on how good I think we are yet so to me a win is a win is a win no matter who its against. After the rough spell the last couple of weeks I will gladly take two series wins in a row.

Hey Crav, do you ever use the Kindle Fire? And if so do you post here with it? I got one a while back and for some reason I cannot post here with it. I can read everything fine but it does not recognize the input box so my keyboard never opens up. No big deal, just think its odd. oops just went back and read: I can and do log in but it wont allow me to post, did you ever find a fix?

Yeah he did. And for an inning it looked like he settled down and was at least going to eat up some innings. If up to me I might have pulled him in the 2nd, maybe even after he had given up 3 runs. I do admit that might be a rash decision.

I do not know what Buck was thinking tonight. I would have certainly pulled Arrieta after he gave up 6, maybe earlier. He was getting hit hard.

Nice win tonight. Last nights was fun but sloppy. Tonight, while I would like to score more than 2 run especially in Fenway, was just a great pitching performance.

Whew, glad the streak is over. The error in the 8th had me worried, I thought that was going to be the tying run.

Well I have a feeling a fantastic bullpen performance was wasted tonight. Hopefully Matusz goes a while.

Maybe I am not as positive about Joe as you are, but I try not to be negative and I say positive things when I see them. Even with my doubts about Joe I never stop cheering for him or the team or wanting for him and the team to suceed. I dont wait for him to do poorly to jump in and pile on and I don't do the "i told you so" bullshit some childish posters do.

You know unless things serioulsy fall apart I still expect this team to finish better than last year, probably if I had to guess around 500. No matter the hot start this season thats still a decent goal and good result. I'll be happy with that. Can we keep the posts from "fans" waiting, expecting, and predicting them to lose to another thread or threads? I am not asking for 'rah rah' posts when they are not warranted but I do not want to read garbage like "I knew this would happen", "I told you so", or "the owner sucks so they will suck". The people posting that garbage are not adding anything, they are just being troll assholes. If you do no tlike the team, stay out of the game threads and let the fans comment.

Ooh ooh! Keep your fingers crossed, maybe you will gleefully be able to post 'I told you so' in a few weeks.

I was just reading about her. She has a bunch of quotes in the "I Want My Mtv" book that came out last year. RIP, I honestly had not listened to her in 30 years but I'll be honest, I played the hell out of a few of her records my mother had when I was a kid.

Its starting to get fun. I still do not expect too much, but I did not expect 11 games over 500 at this point or any other during the season. Jones and Wieters are premier talents. The pitching has been OK, the bullpen excellent. I like what I see of Avery.

Well if we are going to use so many pitchers, who were fantastic BTW, at least we got the win.

If a pitcher has good stuff I can see the Orioles striking out 18-20 times in one game this season.

Well we took two so far! Fridays nights game was a good win. Eveland might have had the worst 'quality start' I have ever seen. Tonights game we should have killed them but we could not take advantage of runnners on base. Since the team has a bunch of free swingers thats goign to happen a lot, and goign to lead to some frustrating losses, but they scored enough.

Davis is the first position player to earn a win since 1968. It was the first time two position players pitched in the same game since 1925, when Ty Cobb and George Sisler pitched in the second game of a doubleheader on the season's final day. Fun stuff.

Today was a very fun game. Our non pitcher pitcher was better than their non pitcher pitcher. After getting the three runs I would have been tempted to ask a starter to close the game.
