  1. Oh I certainly wont argue that Joe puts up some good numbers against bad teams. And he did play well against the Steelers. Still two out of four were not good, especially for a 'top 5' QB.
  2. I'd like to see Joe miraculously develop the ability to look around the field and find open targets when his primary is covered. In a way I am feeling like the 2000 season, in that having a once in a generation dominating defense is the only way I see us going that far.
  3. Its a win so I wont harp on it too much, but he and the offense he leads were terrible last night. And he has been bad 2 out of 4 games this season.
  4. Its certainly a good win against a quality opponent so we take it, enjoy the week off and prepare for the bulk of the season.
  5. There was a reunion of the cast and crew of Arrested Development over the weekend and they announced that there was probably going to be 9 or 10 new episodes of the series then a movie. That was a very pleasant surprise.

Its amazing. If the offense is too conservative and Joe has a bad day people blame Cam for not allowing Joe to throw it. Now on an aggressive night when Joe is bad someone blames Cam for allowing Joe to throw it too much. Either way, whether one likes the gameplan from Cam tonight or not, I still do not see how anyone can say Joe has been anything but bad. Not that I think the line and receivers have been problem free.

They probably should be running the ball more, I wont disagree. That doesnt make Flacco's night any better to me though.

This game should be over. Thank goodness the defense came to play. Flacco is having his typical troubles against good teams. Hes awful tonight. Ironically his best pass of the night was dropped.
  10. Very nice, a good clean looking board.
  11. Running up the score is bush league and will come back to bite you in the ass but there is no way I feel the Ravens ran up the score in either game this season. Sunday they had 27 points at half time and they scored one TD in the 2nd half, a defensive one. After a game where they couldnt move the ball well at all are they Ravens supposed to sit starters at halftime? I would have removed Joe a bit earlier, but if the thought was to leave them in there and work on some things then I have a hard time disagreeing with that.
  12. He was tremendous today, really a fantastic game.
  13. Joe is acting like a whiny brat, and it could be argued he has been since last season.
  14. The only reason I know is because they are the same things he has said numerous times before. He does not like Harbs so he question whether he should have been brought back at or and/or why give him an extension before he is done. My thought which I stated numerous times is that in todays game if you want to bring someone back its usually done before their contract is up, and my opinion is that a coach who inherits a 5-11 team and accomplishes what Harbs has deserves to come back. He thinks we should get rid of Ray and the money Would be spent better elsewhere. My thought is if Ray's play dips to where he isnt a good player then he should should be let go, not before. And I do not see that in his play now. We certainly shouldnt get rid of him because his play may suffer next year or the year after. He doesnt like Ozzie so he picks something that he thinks is a bad move and uses it as an argument Ozzie is no good, as if any GM always makes the right move all the time. If I translated it wrong, please correct me.
  15. I am not sure yet whether we laid an egg or if the performance yesterday was a better indicator of where we are as a team than the opening weekend was. To say we had a hangover or over-looked in some ways lets us off the hook. The Ravens were really bad yesterday, if the Titans didn't make their fair share of mistakes then the game wouldn't have been as close as it was. And when naming mistakes do not forget that terrible delay of game penalty. That hurt.
  16. I'm finding the about the same number, about an hour of ads per game. Seems more. I guess it may also seem more today because of the way the game was going. Still, commercials after a score then coming back for the kickoff then commercials after the kickoff and commercials after every timeout even if they are used consecutively really slow things down to me.
  17. The commercials kill me in the games. I'd like to know how much of a three hour game I am watching actual football and how much I am watching ads. I wonder who Tasker wanted to win today?
  18. I cannot think of anyone on the team who jumps out as having played well today.
  19. Congrats everyone! Thanks Dee!

What a drive! Glad Boldin held on, it looks like the refs were OK with the contact all the way down the field. Ayanbadejo needs to be smarter.
  23. Well now you have convinced me. Bolts a Cardinal. Be cooler if he was a Charger.
  24. Its fun to make things up.
  25. Sorry to hear that guys.
