    Looking better all the time.
  2. At least I don't spend years hanging around a message board of a team I don't like. Or say winning the super bowl was the worst thing that could happen to this team. Or self congratulating myself constantly in the vain attempt to get someone else to do it for you. Etc etc.....
  3. Maybe they just think you're an idiot?
  4. Seven weeks removed from a unanimous MVP season and there's a ton of bitching. I know some of the people here predicted failure so you're backed into that corner, wait for it and pick apart every mistake. Constantly predicting failure does not make you look smart or objective - just makes you look like a negative asshole. @varaven45 - the brain transplant/ between the ears stuff is really offensive. We would all like constant improvement, actually I'm not sure that is true for some of us here, and maybe it seems logical that improvement would be consistent- but so many good/very good/ great QBs have had years or periods in their development where they struggled. It happens. And its not like this offense is so talented the problem has to be Lamar. Times like this I'm not surprised Baltimore fans have whiney reputation we do.
  5. Lamar is not having the best season and today he was not good at all. But he didn't lose the game by himself. And anyone contemplating a future without him or suggesting it's proven what he can or cannot do - is pretty fucking stupid. As if no good or great QBs ever lost their first few playoff games or had a step backwards in their development.

Scariest thing I've read all Halloween season
  7. The first Chargers game was a really big win though! The playoff loss was ugly but that team was a surprise and still forming so I don't blame that on anyone. They won some big games last year so I have hope. I just wouldn't wager on them right now.

Voted in Jacksonville. That was about a 40 minute wait. Not bad. My local place is a mess to even drive near.
  9. I agree, can't hurt. I cannot like our chances yet. I think Pittsburgh is a more talented team.

I'm off this week, trying to early vote but so far my local place has been packed. Consistent times of 2-3 hours. I'll try later, if not I will go on election day.
  12. I hope they win, but win or lose - if they call a pass when I think they should run (or vice versa) I am not going to be happy!

Trump has supporters, not cult followers......is what I to myself when I drive by two houses in my area that look like a trump campaign store blew up on them. Most politicians have followers who have boat parades and car convoys. All perfectly normal
  14. What's it all about?
  15. Unless someone develops quickly I think this is one of the worst groups of WRs in the league. Brown gives me hope, a few times he has been coming back to help Lamar when he's been in trouble. That's good to see. I'm not sold on him as a #1 though. Might not be all Boykin's fault but he and Lamar are not on the same page. Figure it out quickly or give his reps to someone else. We still have time to develop a decent passing game using the WRs instead of just the TEs. Hopefully we do. If not Lamar is going to get killed and the playoffs, assuming we make it, will be tough. Oh well at least its not like our WR cast-offs make much noise anywhere else.
  16. I think when people look for negatives, they often find them. If one wants to harp on shortcomings, whether big or anything short of perfection - that does not mean that person is more objective or knowledgeable than others. It just means they are more negative. I feel sports radio and or message boards has given a huge rise to the amount of people that think being contrarians makes them look like something more. But again, it's sports. Keep predicting bad things and they will eventually probably happens. It's not as impressive as you think.
  17. KC. Pittsburgh. Seattle? Hats off to some other teams for good starts but there are some I wouldn't put as elite.
  18. I saw this yesterday. It was time to move on but he had a good run here. The Ravens have a really good team, but one with some weaknesses - like most of the teams. With one of the league's best coaches they should figure things out. Steelers look great they could be trouble. Barring injury or a player developing quickly - talent wise i think the Ravens trail the Chiefs.....
  19. They certainly are not where they were last year and they certainly need to improve - but they were pretty solid yesterday. Certainly better than the defense was as a whole. Luckily they won and are 5-1 so they have some time to figure things out.
  20. Pretty awesome play
  21. The offense puts up 30, has 350 yards of offense, doesnt turn the ball over and its their fault the defense was bad the 2nd half. That's adorable!
  22. But hey they are 5-1. And they could be 6-0 if they had not lost that one game
  23. That was fun. Really sloppy at times but a good solid win.
  24. Yeah, I'm going to come down on the side of not believing in curses too. I'm not worried, yet. 5 games in - I think he's played good in 3 of them. First half Sunday he was decent. If ahead by a lot in any games coming up soon, I'd keep passing. Try to work it out.
  25. Madden curse?
