Far too early to tell with Lamar, but so far the improvement has been significant. It's certainly encouraging. Sadly we may have the worst group of WRs in the league so the development may look slow at times.

Lamar is developing, he's going to be inconsistent for a while. He's throwing to the tight ends because they have good hands and fight for the ball. The WRs aren't getting open anyhow, and I wouldn't place much trust in them either way. Luckily Harbaugh has often been good at figuring things out and making adjustments. Better to lose and make adjustments in September then in December.

Oh well, that's why I don't gamble. The defense is terrible, both against the run and pass. The WRs are still a huge weakness. If Boykin and Hollywood don't pan out the team is going nowhere even if the defense improves.

It was so nice to see a Raven's QB hit receivers in stride. That td to Snead was beautiful. All in all a really good performance from the team.

Oh yeah that makes sense. I like Rogen's movies usually but a lot of people I know don't, I can understand why. I agree about Star Wars. I liked them when they came out, but not much since the first 3. Weird thing there is Han might be one of my favorite characters ever and I usually like Ron Howard movies - but I've only made it through a few minutes of Solo.

They usually have heart too, usually. This one is supposed to as well. Actually being an old fogey makes you far likelier to have done those things. Also fans being upset if a player misses a game due to a death in the family or personal tragedy is an extreme example. Most fans are not upset by things like this, most normal adults have empathy for others. Luckily only a small percentage of people are that big of assholes.

I'm not going to condemn or mock players attempts to be what they consider fairly compensated. Is a second union the answer or would it work? Not sure, but I don't blame them for exploring all options. A player taking great care of himself through diet and exercise can still blow out a knee, have concussion issue or many other things out of their control. I'm ok with them getting what they can as soon as they can.

Didn't you once mock a player for missing a game after a death in his family and say something to the effect that you don't care about them off the field? Maybe it wasn't you.
