Respect, like patriotism, should be earned - not mandated. When you have posted numerous times that you do not even know what the protests are about even though there are plenty of places to find out why; you're ignorant by choice. NHL player Joel Ward thought about kneeling during the anthem and talked about his reasons. You could find his reasons if you wanted but I'm sure you won't. Hint it's about racial injustice - just like the others.

The anger in and around me during the announcement and during the kneeling make me disagree very much. But hey most people yelled "O" and they shot fireworks off and had planes flyover during the anthem so all was well.
