In a democratic republic you have the right to try to change things. They liked the love it or leave it silliness because it encouraged dissenters not to vote. And because idiots ate it up. Also if you have traveled you would probably know there are plenty of other countries where you could live as well or better than here, I am glad the actual people in charge understand the idea of free speech.
