Who? Where? Any of the projections I recall were far lower. Even March forecasts I pull now are much lower. I can find a CDC worst case model from March that tracked with a 200,000 death total but experts didn't think we'd get there. We did. Its amazing what lies and mismanagement can do. Continue to do. Some models have us over 400,000 by the end of the year.

Well they should both know better and do better but my guess is the media is all over the White House because they are elected officials and supposedly leaders and the other is a sports league. Last I heard the sports league wasn't responsible for giving out false information, politicizing and mocking safety measures, and downplaying the seriousness of the disease - all of which contributed to hundreds of thousands of deaths. Many which would have been avoidable. That's my guess anyway...

There are conservatives? Conservatives usually want fiscal responsibility and state rights/ limited federal government powers. I don't know many if any conservatives now. I used to disagree with conservatives because I don't care who people are sleeping with like a lot of conservatives did and I believe in equality (gender and racial) which a lot of conservatives did not seem to - but I didn't hate them. Now the cult and cult members we have now thriving on ignorance, hate, and cruelty? Yeah I'm pretty close to hating them.

It wasn't great but I could get most of what I needed. I did have top go to two stores to get everything. No toilet paper or paper towels needed yet and have a bad feeling about finding them in a week or so. It's weird what people are hoarding. Tortilla chips, trash bags....

Hundreds of horses die each year in horse racing, almost 500 in the US in 2018. Many others get injured. When it goes well it's still a "sport" where someone whips a horse to make it go faster. Garbage "sport" run by corrupt garbage people.

Just do away with horse racing in general.

Some workers are on the roof of my office building and they have a radio going with Jack FM ( guess) on. So far I have heard "great" stuff like Motley Crue's "Home Sweet Home", Pat Benetar's "Love Is A Battlefield", and Howard Jones "Things Can Only Get Better" - all with the tinny sound from coming through the vents. Its going to be a long day.

Thats really cool. I dont often watch, but Fallon does some funny stuff. I loved his Emmy opening from a couple years ago. Thats also a lot of singing for an actress who doesnt normally sing to do. I am sure she learned how to sing from her father, but I do not know if she ever has done it in front of an audience.
