  1. Like him or not, he's an excellent tweeter
  2. But that doesn't count because he clearly said he wasn't trying to be a bad teammate before he threw them under the bus. I'm pretty sure that negates it. If Peyton either liked the trainer or disliked her before the incident then it really becomes creepy.
  3. It's all terrible but years after its over why smear her name and character? And it's kind of funny that his teammates wouldn't lie for him.
  4. Hamill was the Trickster on that show too. I think his episode was the only one I saw. I didn't really like that version.
  5. That's what she, and I really too, like about The Flash. They do a good job with both advancing the characters and the story. Most of them are fun to watch, even the bad ones. I haven't seen Legends yet and have only seen the crossover episodes of Arrow. It looks good though, maybe in the summer I'll try to go through them.
  6. It looks like Dottie will be in it next week. She scares me - in a good way. Pretty but with crazy eyes.
  7. I went to the Emerald a few times in the early 90s for the games. Long before Sunday Ticket they had a bunch of satellite dishes so they would have all the games. I went there a few years ago and my friend and I ordered a pitcher and it was something like $22. Nope, no thanks.
  8. A year and a half later I am still surprised how much I like the show. My wife isn't really a super hero fan but she really likes it too. Agent Carter is decent but Hayley Atwell is fantastic. Jarvis is cool too.
  9. I'm sorry I ever called you stupid. Clearly I was wrong. Mods - could you please remove all posts where I do so? K, thanks.
  10. The fact that the Denver defense was so good makes it kind of sad that the game could have been won by Carolina with one good drive in the last few minutes. I think it's long over if Brock plays. Even as poorly as Carolina's offense played; I am not sure Denver wins without their defense scoring. Plus, how could you not play a guy named Brock?
  11. If it's the same one, that made me laugh. He flopped after the Panthers were called for a defensive holding right at the end of the game. The game was pretty much over by then.
  12. I thought it was awful. Two good defenses and two terrible offenses. I don't mind Cam and don't like the way people and the media piled on him. Other players have left press conferences before out just not gone and not faced the same criticism. Imagine if Cam left the field early with time on the clock to avoid handshakes like Peyton did in the Saints SB loss. Would writers be excusing/explaining it because of what a competitor he is? I doubt it. Some of the same writers who excused that from Peyton tore Cam apart. Garbage. Or what if Cam said "Im trying to be a good teammate here, let's just say we had some problems with protection" like Peyton did after that loss. I get not being a fan of huge celebrations, though as long as that's what they are and not taunts they don't bother me at all. But really Ravens fans don't have much room to criticize other teams players for celebrations.
  13. Yeah, it sucks games are blacked out from station websites. I do not know whether the receivers are garbage anymore, or maybe just mine, but any radio I listen to AM on is full of static. With the exception of the car radio. I have Sirius XM but cannot often bring myself to listen to sports talk radio.
  14. I actually really like baseball on the radio. I was so glad when they put the games on FM. I had an ancient AM radio I would take on walks and listen to the games and it was so staticky.
  15. The Denver defense was great, they dominated. Carolina also played terribly.
  16. This is where I got my numbers from. http://www.forbes.com/mlb-valuations/list/ As for the super bowl, just another example of why I dont gamble.
  17. Forbes listed their value at 1 billion in their annual valuations last March.
  18. Carolina easily. If Denver finds a way to win I hope Peyton actually contributes, not just gets carried along.
  19. I haven't peed in a trough squeezed against other guys since Memorial Stadium closed.
  20. I can't find the quote but last year he said that the stadium needed some renovations including escalators and if he met with much opposition he would sell the team instead of having to look at other options such as relocation. The pessimist in me thought it sounded like 'give me what I want or I'll sell and who knows what will happen then'.
  21. The stadiums built in the last 20-30 years are, with few exceptions, so much better than the ones built in the decades before. Usually single purpose, better sightlines, better amenities, and enough bathrooms so a woman can go* and be back in less than an hour. As long as they are kept up, I can see them lasting 40-50 years or more. Then again I'm not an already rich owner wanting a bright shiny new venue to increase the value of my team. *urinate
  22. It's impossible to know for sure but I think everything ended up as good as possible for Baltimore. The Colts moving made the city realize it couldn't drag it's feet in regards to stadiums and improvements. This led to Camden Yards. Baltimore got another team that won a SB before the old team every did. If the city could have gotten the name and colors before they ever played in Indy, I'd be fine with it. As soon as the were worn in Indy it felt tainted.
  23. Cleveland's move want exactly advertised. The move was a done deal before most people even knee it was a possibility. Kind of sneaky. Our officials ignored new stadium request and lease changes for years. Irsay was a drunken liar but it was known her was looking for a new stadium for years and years. Seriously, look up how much of game day revenue, parking and concessions, went to the Orioles. It was an awful deal, and they wouldn't change it. That directly affects the value of the franchise. Then the state begins passing a law that might mean they could take the team away from him. Irsay leaves before its passed. The government feigns surprise.
  24. Art was a nice guy and a respected owner; Irsay wasn't. Beyond that the moves are far more similar than they are different. They wanted new stadiums, cities said no. See ya. Super super simplistic but anyone who says one move was just and the other one a theft is just being silly. Anyhow, fuck the Colts. They've been in Indy longer than here. Maybe NFL films could CGI Ravens uniforms over the Colts ones in old footage.
  25. 90% of my commute has me on 95. The other normally 10 minutes or so has been the awful part this week. Honeygo only having one left turn lane at 43 has had traffic backed up to Ebenezer. In Columbia the first couple days had lanes that would come and go. Fun stuff. Honestly I think that they have done a pretty good job with the snow overall. Certainly there are terrible areas but it was a huge storm. Edit: things asking my route were much better today
