I'll check it out. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend "Homicide" the non fiction book by David Simon. They adapted some of the cases and stories for the TV show but the book was fascinating.

Well this thread took quite a strange turn.

I haven't participated in this thread but I have no idea whether he is a good man or not. He certainly did a bad thing but I have no idea whether it was a one time thing or a more frequent thing. I know to some people, even if it was a one time thing it makes him a horrible person. I'm somewhere in the middle.

I hated them at first but they kind of grew on me as the game went along.

I think it's a fair offer. If he takes it - great. If not, oh well. The Orioles and fans have been good to Davis. Hopefully if the money is close he thinks of that. And what kind of homerun numbers he could put up during that term at Camden. He could end up with 400+ homers here. Maybe elsewhere too, but this park is ideal for him.
