I just think that to help make sure it never happens again the team needs to be penalized too. A fine to one individual doesn't really do that IMO. Or change the rule that in any case of interference from the sideline a touchdown is awarded.

Interesting how you feel which team/owner is involved affects the penalty. I think a lot of people might agree with you, but just not be OK with it. All teams and owners need to be treated the same in my opinion. The teams were warned of it the day before, it kind of looks like a FU to the league that someone did it the next day. IMO the team needs to be penalized as well as the coach, the team benifitted from the act so the NFL needs to punish them too. You cannot have things like this happening then teams throwing coaches or other personnel under the bus with those individuals taking the full penalty while the team avoids getting penalized itself. I dont really care if its a fine or a pick, but I dont think the league should let the team off. But yeah, I would be surprised if anything else happens because its the Steelers.

Was there a precedent for it when the Dolphins coach did it? Did the Dolphins coach do it just 1 day after the NFL warned all teams about it? Surely you see how the NFL could be harsh with the warning the day before.

I just dont see that being true. Against us, put up 24 points and its a win. Maybe even 20 or 18. Our offense is so bad.

I think it's pretty obvious it was intentional but ultimately I don't think it matters. There needs to be a serious fine. The NFL can't have coaches acting like wwe managers

I'll try to be vague, and I didnt go back and try different things myself, but from what I understand primarily the stories will be the same no matter what choices are made. However who accompanies you (survives or splits) and how others act towards you and each other will be different.

I have read the comics too and while it follows some events it often deviates from the comic quite a bit. The Telltale game was a lot of fun. I just played the very short post game chapter "400 Days" and liked that too.

OK, now that you mention it I didnt see contact. I just saw the defender not looking for the ball at all. Maybe thats not a penalty.

Overall I thought the offense played decent last night and thought Flacco played very well. However they still only put up 22 points and only scored one TD and had to settle for 5 FGs. If this was a just one game I would adopt the 'its the Steelers - tough game' mindset but this has happened all year. Their opponent was allowed to hang around longer than they should have been and the outcome was in doubt far later than it should have been. I am happy we won, happy we are still alive in the p;ayoff race, but nothing I saw last night gave me any more confidence than I had before.

I think pass interference could have been called on the Ravens on the missed conversion too.

They need to play better to even get the wildcard. 3/4ths of the season in I dont all the sudden see them turning it on. I hope they make the playoffs somehow, but I dont expect it. The offense is just not good enough.
