I would have liked the episode better if it would have been about a new character or a missing old one. How about Morgan? But not so much with the Guv'na. Not only is he not a nice guy but he is also insane so I think humanizing him was a waste of time. Plus I thought the last episode focused on the flu and Herschel was good so I am not happy they are spending two episodes away now.
By my count they gave up 16 (Joe's pick six), which is a pretty decent job. The defense has not been great, but its been consistenly decent. This team doesnt score enough. 14 points, 20, 17, 16, 18, 20, 20. Thats just not enough points in this era.
I think those days are mostly gone. I dont think either would have long careers now. I dont now whether Davis will ever have the same year again, but after years of searching the Orioles had a good bat at first base. He seems like a good guy and a good teammate so I think it makes sense to sign him long term. If they trade him for prospects I know most fans (including the person who proposed it in this very thread) with then bitch about how cheap the team is.
I dont find losing comical at all. However they won the Super Bowl last year and its just a sporting event so I dont let it get me down too much. There is too much other real shit in life to get me down rather than following a sports team, which should be a fun diversion. My 2nd comment was about the mostly inane comments put on Facebook and nothing to do with losing.
I like Wieters but I think both Davis and Machado are bigger priorities than he is. There is no hurry for Machado yet because of his age, not that I ever want things to get contentious between him and the team, so I think Davis is the key this season. They have to re-sign him IMO. Great numbers and a good guy.
I wish the people who post the same things all the time would just copy and paste the same exact thing all the time. I feel bad about the time they waste.
I don't think he is playing well. I think the line is the biggest problem and the running game the second but even factoring that in I don't think Joe is playing good. Not terrible, but not good. Two bad weeks in a row too.
No, I don't think so. The defense has been good and it is still giving up more average points per game than the offense is scoring. The offense has scored 20 or less points 6 out of 9 games. That's terrible. Is it possible they turn it around and make the playoffs? Of course and I hope they do, but they don't look like a playoff team now and I just don't expect them to this year.
I think its a decent division that is having a bad year. It has 2 well run teams with decent coaching. It has 1 team cheaply run with a good coach. And it has one team that is consistenly a mess.
I just dont think killing two quarentined people made the group that much safer, if at all. And I understand Rick, having two children, not wanting her to come back with them. I often disagree with him, but I was OK with this choice.
I read the comics. Things are so different that I dont think they help me guess whats going to happen too often. The two of them were quarentined and did not pose much of a rick to the others. I like Carol, and understand her motivation, but I think what she did was wrong.
