He got a second opinion. He had this injury in Delmarva and his knee, from what I've read, is not the most stable to begin with...he opted to stabilize it.

Rodgers/Ryan/Romo were all paid more than Flacco, and other than Rodgers, have had less post season success. You need a QB that can make your team succeed and take you deep into the playoffs. Joe has done so...he may not have the stats the others have, he's worthy.
