Eric on the failed trade news conference
GrubberRaven replied to tsylvester's topic in Baltimore Ravens
you're trading 2 first round pics, you better get 5 years of top performance. Maxx is running himself into the ground. -
I haven't soured on DeCosta yet.

I assumed you were including Harbs' tenure.

That's a great story. Appreciate you sharing it. In a world where people hoard money and seem to never be at peace, reading things like this bring back some humanity. Barry is still a millionaire and able to enjoy his elder years I'm assuming. Honestly, Lamar comes from poverty and he'll never worry about it again, as long as he saves/spends it right. Maybe he achieved his goals. I think he still wants a ring, but not here. -
So what draft position will the Ravens be in? 14th pick

The OL needs to be the focus though, right? -
Schefter reporting that Ravens tried to get both Trey and Maxx Crosby. That would have been crazy
-
I appreciate the info on Hendrickson. Having him and 2 picks back is good. Just hope he is healthy.
-
We didn't even exist though...wtf...
-
So someone tell me this is good. He played 7 games last year and is 2 years older than Crosby

Holeeeeeeee shit...what a turn of events. The voice in the back of my head was leery of TWO pics for him as he was coming off an injury and his mileage, but he IS/WAS a proven commodity. I'm more worried about this making the front office look shady. Also, there are rumblings that Lamar restructured and did not get extended and if that's the case, Lamar better go all out or he can go bye bye next year. I hate Brady, but the guy took pays that benefitted his team. Lamar is about Lamar.

You know I won't fault you for pointing out the lack of leadership since Ray and Ed left. Lamar is no leader. Talented yes, leader no. Taking Ray out to prove your point works mathematically, but Ray was here before Harbaugh and there were some pretty dry years then too. Ultimately, this is a clean slate now, but I'm not jumping to the conclusion we are on par with Dallas if you subset the data to prove your point.

Over the last 18 years (2007–2024 seasons), the Dallas Cowboys have made 9 playoff appearances but have zero NFC Championship game appearances, frequently exiting in the Wild Card or Divisional rounds. They have a 4-9 playoff record in that span, often defined by "one-and-done" losses. Playoff Struggles: Despite strong regular seasons, they are often eliminated early, including losses to Green Bay (twice), San Francisco (twice), and the Rams in recent years. Over the last 18 years (2008–2025 seasons), the Ravens have been a consistent playoff contender, going 13-11 in the postseason. They won Super Bowl XLVII (2012 season), secured 6+ AFC North titles, and reached the AFC Championship game four times (2008, 2011, 2012, 2023). Dallas has hardly sniffed the playoffs...get the f out of here
-
The dude barely played and I'm sure he'll be in NY in no time... Stout and Koller surprised me the most.
-
And for everyone doubting EDC's drafting ability...his 2022 cleaned up...
-
I feel like it is, but revealing, reveals how much money they have, restricting agents from pushing for bigger paydays from us. Tin foil hat in full effect... We really let a lot of guys sign elsewhere. I hope it pays off.

Kolar to the Chargers
-
Warhop set us back...He's like Trump is to America right now...
-
I'm betting on coaching this year...I mean Harbaugh brought Roman back on board. The guy is too loyal.

Better than Falaffle
-
Papa you're always negative and not something I'd be proud to hang my hat on. Stout and Likely to the Giants Dre'Mont Jones to NE and just saw Linderbaum to the Raiders
-
Oh yee of little faith... We hit a complete reset on coaching philosophies with new coaches. We brought in a guaranteed play maker on D after failing to draft one and feeling like the draft this year doesn't have one at our place IN the draft. We haven't played a down yet and everyone is feeling like it's over. We were contenders pre-season last year and didn't sniff the playoffs. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN.
