I'm mildly excited to watch this game this weekend. Another defensive line challenge for our rebuilt line, but I feel like we held up well against the defending champs, so we'll see.

Post game, Lamar stated he was watching Bateman, not Zay. Saw Zay when he released it as he was pressured too by Jones. Any concerns about Orr and the blown coverages? Smith accepted that responsibility, but I feel like the timeouts were taken in the second half because Orr couldn't get the right personnel in.

Stayed up and watched the whole thing. Competitive until the end. I'm not overly upset losing to the reigning Super Bowl champs, but damn if there wasn't some bias.

Huntley was cut. I would have welcomed Zappe if KC didn't snag him.

Been listening to the Filmstudy podcast with Ken McCusick(sp?). Great listens and really granular analysis. Late to the game with him, but enjoying it. Seems to be a lot of concern over our O-line and the depth of our D-line. Guess we'll learn more after this weekend.

Stroud has a year of success, but Houston was smart and gave him weapons this offseason. Sky is the limit. One thing I noticed about Stroud is he can get out of the pocket, quick. Lightening fast. Great decision making. If Lamar doesn't sniff the super bowl this year, his rep will be solidified as the guy who can't win the big games. I'd rank them the same.
