  1. This is a good system for him, Cams system might not have been but Kubiaks system seems to fit FFB.
  2. never said he should start , but he should be used more than he's being used. If Flacco is on the field and stands there with his hands in his pockets that says more about Flacco than anything else i've ever seen from him.
  3. his stats in the preseason game was pretty good with an awful line in front of him, , most of the time we've seen Tyrod is when he has an awful line in front of him so he uses his legs. you Flacco Fan Boys are famous for using that as an excuse for Flacco, but not one of you has noticed that with Tyrod. So flacco has an awful line in front of him and it's the O-lines fault. tyrod has an awful line in front of him and now it's bad decisions, how many bad decisions did flacco make last year with an awful line, how accurate was flacco last year with an awful line, when Flacco is slow to react it's because the WR's can't get separation. Flacco Fan Boys judge every QB with a fine tooth comb except Flacco.
  4. Why does everyone think this is Tyrod's last year? just because his contract is up doesn't mean he's going somewhere else. i don't bolieve any other team is going to offer him a legitimate chance to start, or any real money. Unless he just wants to get out of Bmore and play behind someone he thinks is more likely to get hurt.
  5. Well then you have him do other things, thats what Kubiak is for, have some creativity, Tyrod can throw a football, it just doesn't have to be gadget plays. putting him in a box , thats what the problem is, Think out of the box.
  6. After watching our first preseason game , i'm still wondering why we don't use Tyrod more, why doesn't he have a package where his talent is used to benefit our offense. Just because Flacco may not like it , doesn't mean you don't do it. His talent is obvious, he has the legs of a young Vick and a cannon of an arm. By no means am i saying he should be our starter, so you Flacco Fan Boys don't get your panties in a bunch, but use him. I hate it when talent is not used and is just standing on our sideline, like Juice from last year. Tyrod coming in here and there adds to the offense.
  7. so how much of a bonus do you think the ravens will offer Torrey Smith that will make him accept 5 million a year?
  8. you're confusing me, which one is it, does he deserve top wr money or 5.0 a year and isn't 5.0 a year a cheap contract.
  9. I'm curious as to how much money you think Torrey deserves Craven? If Dez Bryant signs before Torrey, does Torrey deserve what Dez signed for?
  10. ^^^^^ see, this right here makes me wonder about you sometimes Craven. so 11th and 12th might as well be 32nd.
  11. our defense was respectable to me. they were not horrible as some of our own fans are quick to say. 11th and 12th in the first year of rebuilding is great! to me. they were put in situations at the end of games where they needed stops so the offense could get back on the field and try to make a game winning drive and didn't get it done. but how many times at the end of games did we have a lead and they blew the lead? if the offense had put up more points and given us more leads in the 4th quarter and we blew the leads i could see saying that our defense was pretty bad. but the phase of football on this team that was horrible was the offense.
  12. You love to be so critical of our defense, but if not for a our defense last year we would not have been in alot of those games. i know we were one of the worse time of possesion teams in the NFL. thats on the offense. our defense was 11th and 12th against the run and pass , what was our offensive ranks? i can guarantee they are worse. Your criticism of the defense is just another way you groupies try to defend Flacco. our defense was much more respectable last year than our offense. so if our defense was horrible last last than our offense was horrible squared.
  13. Being a Superbowl MVP is overrated. Some real bums have won that honor. Flacco groupies love to throw that around just like a steelers fan loves to bring up 6 rings
  14. Ok Crave you're right, but when the season rolls around i don't want to hear any excuses about this being a new offense, thats why Flacco is struggling(if he struggles). There might be some acceptable excuses depending on whats going on, but a new offense will not be one of them.
  15. The Smith's and Flacco play two different positions, i expect more from Flacco than i do from any player on our team. Flacco plays the most important position on the team, he's the top guy, he needs to know the offense in and out. Flacco is not like all of the other players so stop trying to make excuses for him by comparing to other players on the team
  16. Unitas plays QB and it's easier to compare QB's in different era's because the position carries wins and losses with it, thats how come Unitas can still be considered the greatest of all time at qb. furthermore compare Mackeys numbers with TE's in his era and see how he stacks up , now do the same with Heap and tell me what you come up with.
  17. I want my QB to be building chemistry with the players on the offense , especially since they are installing a new offense, not playing golf. i want my QB to sell the play, not stand there with his hands in his pockets because we;re running the wildcat and he doesn't like it. Joe is turning into a diva and he's getting a pass from most of you people but i'm not going to let it ride. You call it hate, i call it having high expectations for the face of the franchise.
  18. you're the one that posted the numbers of Heap and someone from a different era, to try and make Heap look like something more than he is. why didn't you post Heap numbers with someone most of us could at least say we have seen play? you're really reaching now Crave, so because Unitas is the best qb of all times and he played back in the day, that means that Heap can put up average numbers over a ten year career in the 2000's and because there similar to Mackey's, it legitimizes Heaps career. Bottomline "Scrap" Heap was average and the numbers you posted are the proof.
  19. If Todd "scrap"Heap is going in, then it really isn't that hard to get in
  20. this statement applies to most NFL players, that doesn't make them ROH worthy. You guys are making Heap out to be something that he wasn't. the guy was a decent NFL TE , thats it.
  21. Flacco doesn't need to be at a celebrity golf tournament, he needs to be practicing his craft and into that new playbook! secondly, how the hell does flacco know whats going to happen with ray rice, his opinion is just as informed as mine on this matter.
  22. he was serviceable, adequate, satisfactory, nothing special about this guy , other than when a whole stadium said his last name is sounded cool
  23. Mackey and "Scrap" Heap played in two totally different era's , that argument doesn't wash. so if your numbers are better than John Stallworth at WR then you should make the hall of fame? "Scrap" Heap was an average TE, to correct myself, he wasn't a bum but he was also far from ROH worthy.
  24. "Scrap" Heap was an average TE that was injury prone and because we didn't draft another TE to replace this bum he played here for ten years. thats all i have to say about that.
