  1. Terrible weather for fans....very windy, rain and cold.
  2. Soon it will be the whole state.
  3. I don't want the game ball. I want to see them put together 4 solid quarters in all 3 phases. Then I want to be watching playoff games at M&T.
  4. Suggs stated his intention. Where he intends to be. That statement is no where near a guarantee. It's the media stretching it.He never said "We're going to the Super Bowl". ProFootballtalk said it...but not Suggs. There's a huge difference between Intent and guarantee. Ever since Namath, the media looks for any player willing to open his mouth and give as guarantee. Well this is a bullshit stretch. Suggs has been very clear all season that he's not playing for stats, records or accolades....he wants that trophy. That's healthy.
  5. No.
  6. The Bengals looked real inspired during that 2nd half Saturday with the playoffs on the line. Yea that Dalton was good....3 for 9 for 18 yards. Marvin sure had them fired up!
  7. I've come back around since I started this thread. The Ravens will come out and play their best and guys like Girode and whoever plays in Williams, Bouldin's and Reeds spot need us to pull for them to have a good game. They can really use a bye. It's been since week 5 that they've had a break.
  8. Voodoo??? Can you get a crav doll that we can stick pins in?
  9. Reality... But wait! He has a way out.... I would be so friggn'n embarrassed if I were the Yets owner.
  10. He will not take the honorable way out and fall on his sword. Instead he chooses to walk in denial.
  11. I got the Nook tablet for Christmas!
  12. The Ravens may not need to get better to get to the Super Bowl. Look at the teams in their way. Everybody is soft in certain areas...not just one team area. They just need to execute and be disciplined in 5 areas: Block Tackle Throw Catch Run "Occupy Cincinnati!!!"
  13. The Ravens have been relatively healthy all season but that streak of good fortune is snapped. Evans is a shell of himself. The Ravens needs Williams, but fortunetly they won't meet a great passing offense until New England. The O line once again is getting patched up. The Bengals and then the Steelers are the best defenses they will meet so that's not too bad. Really, the road to the Super Bowl in the AFC is wide open. Everybody has weaknesses. Even with the injuries the Ravens stack up well.
  14. "What do you mean I don't have any time outs!?"
  15. Merry Christmas Everybody! It's a 4:15 game next Sunday with a chance to sweep the division and get a first round bye that I want so bad. I want a home playoff game for Christmas... ...and 1 Norweigen Sex Goddess please! Sorry for this downer of a thread but this team leaves too many openings for opponents to capitalize on. The injuries hurt. There still is a ton of talant on this team but it's not gelling. Smith was the only WR with a catch...2. Dickson had the TD but his drops killed drives that would have put this game away. Special Teams sucked. Rosberg isn't getting it done and Grahmns kick offs are way too short. The Bengals did the same thing the Ravens did. They folded in the 4th quarter giving up 16 points. They're not a great team either. They leave openings too. Who exploits that will find the way to win.
  16. This is all there is for now...
  17. I can't believe I'm saying this. The 2011 Ravens peeked earlier in the season. Maybe the 49er game. Now they are treading water.... or getting worse. Injuries and age are catching up. Ray Lewis is playing below average for a MLB. He is doing things I've never seen him do before. He's failing to run down players, arm tackling, wiffing, getting beat in coverage and even running to the wrong hole or over reacting. It has to be his toe injury...and age. Jarrett Johnson is having a hard time shedding blocks and holding down the outside. He's not the same. Cundiffs leg injury. Bouldins knee. Reddings foot. Yandas hurt again. Ed Reed has lost a step. and Joe Flaccos having a down year and is not capeable of carrying this team. The next man up will be a step down as far as doing damage in the playoffs. They can beat teams like the Browns but what is comming up next is more than this 2011 team can handle. It gets worse. On a day where the Ravens only gave up 256 yards they continue to get out coached. Norv did it last week. This week the Browns had no coach who is capable of out smarting the Ravens coaches....but they didn't need one! The Browns have only 1 playmaker on that team. Only 1 guy who can hurt you...and the Ravens kept punting to him until he ran one back for a TD. That gave life to the Browns and got them back in the game. Of course the Ravrens offense put on the snooze button and only scored a FG in the 2nd half...which is something you can count on every week. It's caving in. I think today we saw the last win for the 2011 Ravens.

    Oh Well

  19. Marshal Faulk...now we're talking great....and Ray will be with him and maybe pass him next year. It all about touches and not to defend Cameron, but he wants Rice to touch the ball...he doesn't care how. What we call dump offs, are many times attempts to get Ray the ball with some open field around him...get him 1 on 1. Then there are the times out of necessity when Joe gets pressured or can't find a receiver downfield....throwing to Ray is a great option. Ray has excellent hands and focus...that's why he's in the same sentence with Faulk. Pause a moment to let this sink in...."The NFL's leader in total yards from scrimmage". He's the best offensive weapon in the NFL other than the quarterbacks. "If they can you Norv, call me. Steve will open the checkbook."
  20. He can't get anybody in the stands. He's probably the worst owner in the NFL.
  21. I'd say let Pita, Dixon and Rice roam the middle. Smith and Evans out wide. Slot? Reed, Doss, Williams....of those 3 Reed might be the best but he's never come through in a game.
  22. Wouldn't Pita be more suited as a wide out? They'll probably play Williams
  23. Well...they have David Reed and Tandon Doss. Flacco isn't lacking for targets. He has Pita, Dixon, Smith, Evans, Rice...even Leach.
