  1. As long as the Jets win the AFC East.

If the Dolphins or Pats win, and the Jets still win out, we will not.

I don't get it Force. The Jets are still the East leaders....so if they win out they should be the leaders then too...right?

  2. That play was at my end zone and the ball definately was not over.

This is a hard loss for me to take.

I agree with you RavensNest...Cam laid an egg today, Flacco was off and in the end...the D let them drive the field for the winning score.

Settling for 3's also klilled the Ravens.

  3. He's a St Joe guy...he'll sign here plain and simple.

One thing about Mount Men...they are bred and educated to know the system and how to win and beat it...he's just wringing every single penny he can get out of Pete...then he'll sign at the breaking point.

He'll sign for less than he can get elsewhere, but it still will be a ton of money.

Loyalty, home, family, friends and that "Baltimore water" will make it too hard for him to go elsewhere.

    He's one of us.

    Believe me.

I have knowledge of things they are not wanting you to know.

  4. Are you high vmax!?! No running game. No Carson Palmer. No pass rush.

    All this equals NO WIN!

You're an AFC North team vs an NFC Least taxi squad...Marvin can field the practice squad today and win.

Didn't he say they would win their last 3 games a few days ago? That was after he watched the Drainage Basin Snyder's.

  5. STFU Cravn you live in PA, you pay taxes in PA, you have no standing in this community regarding Baltimore or anything else. You left town just like the Colts.

Post of the day! :D...er sorry crav...:)

Yea Ballt...it was cool to see the Gifford controversey solved. They didn't put in the whole Donovan quote. Gifford was ranting at the officials and Art told him to STFU and get back in the huddle. :)

I loved the show. Certainly I could have done without the Indy players on it but it was clear throughout that this was Baltimore's team.

Once again I was mesmerized by the Colt logo...it will forever stop me in my tracks. It was a symbol of part of my childhood and young adult years...the memories were special.

  6.

    well I'm still watching it.

To set the stage...TV was still in it's infancy...more households were getting them but most football fans grew up listening to it on the radio. They was slim pickings to watch as far as NFL games...college football was king but you didn't get much of that to watch.,

Baltimore TV had 3...I said 3 TV channels....no more. The morons at the time were more interested in Lawrence Welk than sports.

Today ESPN alone carries more sports channels.

This game, for whatever reason, was the most watched NFL game ever and it was off the charts in drama, hall of fame players and overtime excitement. It changed the public's perception of the NFL for good and TV took notice....the broadcasting of games began to snowball into what we have today.

However, watching the Lions on Thanksgiving is taking it too far. :)

  7. Sorry crav, I'm watching it.

From what I hear they make it very clear that it's the Baltimore Colts.

For me that will be one more thorn in the NFL's side to have the Sportsnation view the great legacy of Baltimore football. Let the world know, once again, that we had a huge impact on todays game. Let the world know that Baltimore has great fans. Fans will see that it was an injustice and not handled properly (the loss of a great franchise).

Nothing can be done to change it.

  8. Jamison Hensley shares a few thoughts on Billick...in a round about way...:)

Cameron has gotten so much out of so little this season. He doesn't have a clear-cut No. 1 running back. He doesn't have a big-play receiver. He doesn't have a healthy offensive line.

Yet armed with a rookie quarterback, Cameron has turned around an offense that regularly slumped under Brian Billick.

When you think about it, Cam should be OC of the Year.

  9. Yea..I get that rm52...that's why I said one reason for their success at running.

There are a bunch of reasons...Flacco's a rookie...needs to keep the D honest...but like most years under Billick this team is committed to running the ball.

The ypc isn't impressive....the number of attemps tells the story.

Now that gives Cam a lot of options because with this strong base of running he can burn you with the big play. Something Billick could never do except when he had our man Trent Dilfer. :)

    Nov. 20, 2005: Ravens 16, Steelers 13,OT

(Sun photo by Kenneth K. Lam / November 20, 2005)

Ravens kicker Matt Stover and his teammates celebrate his 44-yard game-winning field goal in overtime against the Steelers. Stover's kick capped the winning, 30-yard drive and the 3-hour, 42-minute marathon, sending thousands of Steelers fans home unhappy and causing a raucous on-field celebration that spilled into an electric locker room.
