  1. dc...the Ravens D will eat up that offense. It's going to be sooo ugly. :)

The Potomac Drainage Basin Indigenous Persons have a lot of talent in their secondary so they play man to man. The match up I'm interested in is the Ravens receivers against that secondary 1 on 1. I think Mason and Clayton will take this as a challenge and bring their 'A' game.

Then there are the TE's...could be a good night for Heap and Wilcox.

  2. Kind of like Al Capone....couldn't get him for all the murders ect but they put him away for good for income tax evasion....it doesn't matter the reason at this point, just the fact that he's behind bars for the rest of his life.

  3. LOL!

GAME PLAN: The Ravens always want to establish the run, but they will test the Redskins deep if Washington uses eight men in the box. Joe Flacco has been looking downfield more, which has produced several big plays. Defensively, the Ravens will focus on the Washington's run game, whether it's Clinton Portis or Ladell Betts. There is little concern that quarterback Jason Campbell will beat them.

  4. Exactly. In fact, a guy called in the other night on WBAL's Steve Davis/John Harbaugh's show and inquired about Preston's ill advise Sun article abou the so called "doghouse" players or guys who werent buying in to Harbaugh's system. He mentioned among others Rolle, Willis, Reed, and Todd Heap (if you can believe that).

Harbaugh was dumbfounded by the mere mentioning of the news and apparently doesn't read any of this garbage. Nonetheless, he was very surprised and responded that he felt bad for the aforementioned players since he indicated these guys, in his opinion, were team players, having great seasons, and all trying to achive the same goal of winning.

I personally felt bad for Harbaugh being put on the spot and having to address such idiotic comments.

    Thanks for that information varaven.

I have no reason to believe Harbaugh is a liar. I take him at his word.

So far it seems Preston and Anita Marks don't.

Marks twists the facts by saying don't be surprised if CMac, Rolle, Willis, Scott, ect are not back next year.

Well Duh!!! ....Age, NFL milage, injury history, salary cap....these are the reasons for the upcomming turnover this off season. Any solid Ravens fan can see the roster change is inevitable.

    It's not rocket science.

    It's not Harbaugh's doghouse either.

  5. Kick-ass.

I peeked -- my wife bought me a road Flacco jersey for Xmas this year. :D

    LOL!

You should be able to wear that a long time. I got a Ray Lewis jersey in '96...13 years later I can still wear it while he plays. :)

  6. The Baltimore Ravens offense is ranked 19th in yardage so they still have a way to go to hit 'average' in that category.

In the all important 'Points Scored' catagory they are a very respectable 10th.

The stats don't tell the complete tale of how well they have played and the improvement they have made over the last 7 games.

They are hot and on a roll. It's been steady, consistant progress despite the injuries.

It would be so sweet to see this continue through December.

  7. No more "Blackouts"!

Just admit it didn't work for the Ravens or Terps and move on.

    LOL!''''

Asked whether beating the Redskins would give them bragging rights inside the clubs around town, defensive end-linebacker Terrell Suggs said: "I'm not going to a nightclub. Haven't you heard what happened this past week?"

    43662043.jpg

  8. McGahee said there is no need to get frustrated.

"That's not going to get you anywhere," he said. "You can pout, cry all you want, and you're still not going to get on the field. Just be calm with it. Just be glad that you are rested right now because I could probably be tearing my knee up even more. Then it would be drastic or something like that."

After reading this article and hearing Harbaugh's statements about his plans for Willis it is clear to me that Willis is banged up, not 100%, and needs to physically recover.

I don't think Harbaugh is a liar. The media members who keep saying that Willis is in Harbaugh's Doghouse are basically saying Harbaugh is a liar.

  9. We can only hope the Skins gameplan is to run the ball.

Any Skins fans that show up will get a treat to sit in a real NFL stadium. Actually, Skins fans shouldn't come here...it will ruin them....they will keep thinking "What a dump I'm sitting in at Landover Stadium" at every Skins home game.

Ravens fans will also show them how to take it to the next level. The 12th man will raise hell on Sunday Night at Ravens Stadium.

  10. They gave him that big contract and he took the money and screwed the organization. He could be in jail for the next 3.5 years and lose millions.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

I think the Giants will survive this but it makes them less a lock to win the Super Bowl.

  11. Thanks for the heads up.

That's Ravens history now...ONLY 5 OUT OF 150 HIT THE GROUND!

    Joe Cool...

    43066017.jpg

Now...I know football is a team sport and it takes all the players and coaches to be successful. It takes a solid organization.

But...if I could pick one player, that by adding him to the starting roster, who has taken this team over the top, it would be Joe Flacco.

The Ravens always could run the ball and the defense has been excellent for a long time but there was never a long term solution at QB.

    They have that now.

  12. No HC's are successful or can be successful in Cinci because of the ownership and crappy organization.

You have to have talent to get to the top and they have no clue or plan to compete with the rest of the NFL to get that talent. Marvin was in a no win situation from the start.

"Billicks HC tree" includes Mike Smith (doing great in Atlanta), Lewis, Nolan, Singletary, and Del Rio.

The 49er's Front Office is a joke so it's a similar situation for Nolan and Singletary.

  13. I wonder about these so-called NFL elite teams.

I really wonder if Washing is going to be much of a test?

I was thinking the same thing...just a different way...it was...

"I wonder how bad the Ravens will anilate the Indigenous Persons? Will they shut them out?"

I think it's going to be a feeding frenzy. The Ravens will show up like they did in SB35.

  14. WOW!

"We don't care about playing in prime time, we don't care if the rest of the country knows about us or not. We're not interested in any of that. We're not trying to impress anybody," Harbaugh said. "We're trying to win a football game Sunday. Our guys understand how to win a tough football game when it counts. They've proven that."

Now I love that quote. I love the passion and focus.

    and.....

    "I love the arrogance!!!"

    17295807.jpg

  15. This will be a big test for Flacco. I think he's the Skins key to victory...get him to make the costly turnover because they know they are in for Hell from the Ravens D. They need a short field to win.

Thus Joe's big challenge...avoid the costly turnover.

    43661094.jpg

Let's have a look at Mount Gaither...:)
