  1. They wouldn't come out saying this if they thought Biden was a liability. This is a huge statement....
  2. Turn this around and the offense will be fine....
  3. I have never understood the death reports due to the virus. From the beginning I would read the daily death total as 2 figures. Deaths due to virus and the "Other". I would wonder how many people died at home who couldn't get to a hospital or didn't think they needed to. I guess that is part of the "Other" category. Then you have the heart attacks/respiratory/stroke that were probably caused by the virus. So the death toll has to be higher due to the vague "Excess Death" category. I read this....
  4. Just like Trump you're misquoting me. I said, "After they win the Super Bowl then they can....."
  5. USA Today, for the first time ever, backs a candidate for President.... https://www.usatoday.com/in-depth/opinion/todaysdebate/2020/10/20/elect-joe-biden-reject-donald-trump-editorials-debates/5919435002/
  6. LOL! Joe has his hat in the ring... Flacco finished the postseason having completed 73-of-126 (57.9 percent) passes for 1,140 yards with 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions, tying Montana and Kurt Warner for the most touchdowns in a single postseason and additionally tying Montana for the most touchdowns without an interception in a single postseason.
  7. Really...you are not trying hard enough to shit on this team. You can do a better job.
  8. Found this on MSN this morning, an article from The Yardbarker on "Which NFL teams have allowed the fewest points in the 16-game era?"..... The Good Old Days! Those are unbelievable numbers.
  9. Well...Vegas thinks differently..... https://www.vegasinsider.com/graphics/ut/betMGM-75x75.png They see something that we don't. 10. How many elite teams are there. 3?
  11. There's a lot of places where we can point the finger, but like Spen said, they did score 30 points. Off topic but did you see Flacco taking a 28 yard sack? I felt better about the Ravens current situation after that. Glad those days with their problems are gone Give Joe credit...he's won a ton of playoff games and a Super Bowl. Lamar has 0. Preston says: That may be true for now. That's how they looked when they were 4-2 last year. They had a tough schedule coming up and didn't lose a game until the playoffs. There is too much talent on this team. I think they will get it together.
  12. I 'll take the win any way they can get it but yea....this was ugly, sloppy ball. 5-1.... The o line tried real hard to kill drives with 587 penalties. The D gave up way too many big plays. It's like they went up 17-0 and the team said "Ok....we 've done enough. Let's take it easy." If Wentz's receivers did better at catching the ball this would be a loss. If the Eagles don't go for the 2 point conversion on their first TD this game is in over time. It was 24-6...then they went brain dead.... asleep. There's a lot to be concerned about. A lot to get corrected during the bye.
  13. I find myself paying extra attention to the polls....like watching the football scores on Sunday. The Polls are showing Trump circling the drain. We can't get over confident. We need to vote....vote him out by overwhelming, undisputable numbers.
  14. Key match up: Hey...looks like we'll have around 7,000 fans in the stands for the Steelers game. Reality Check! A plea from Mike for us to use some common sense.....Let's show Mike we have some!
  15. All that needs to be said about Sundays opponent is that the 1-3-1 Eagles finished with a 23-23 OT tie against the Bengals. 73.4% win probability. Team Stats Points Per Game 29.8 22.6 Points Allowed Per Game 15.2 29.0 Total Yards 355.4 349.2 Yards Passing 194.6 241.2 Yards Rushing 160.8 108.0 Yards Allowed 361.2 381.0 Pass Yards Allowed 269.2 266.8 Rush Yards Allowed 92.0 114.2 It could get ugly. Carson Wentz now has a league-leading 8 interceptions on the year. He had 7 INTs all last season. But wait!.........There's more! That was against a Pittsburgh defense that is supposed to be very good.....although they have yet to play against a solid opponent. (Giants, Broncos, Texans collective 1-11 records) Uh Oh! More woe. 'I say...Unleash the Hounds! Will the 2020 Ravens offense begin to get an identity and come alive? What do you have to say to that Lamar? "Oh yes! Definitely! We will!" I really want to be fair to Greg Roman. I really like the guy. The job that he did last year was phenomenal. I believe in him....except against KC and in the playoffs.......where I'm going is this: Can you imagine Duverney ...and Proche o lined up with Brown, Andrews and Dobbins!!! No way a D can cover that much speed. But wait! There's more! Duverney and Proche have great hands. They are 100% reliable to catch the ball!! No OTA's and no training camp has delayed their growth into the offense. In fact, Greg Roman, Eric DeCosta and myself are in a state of lamentation on "What Could Be...or What Dreams May Come!" What do you think Lamar?... "Oh Man! That'd be dope!...like dope all over everywhere!" Although I heard Christmas music in the store yesterday.....I swear!....10/12!!!!......it's too early in the year for this...right? Scenes of yesteryear...my son hooked school to be there...I'm so proud of him.....
  16. We are used to seeing the high scoring machine of 2019. The 2020 model is about 60% of that. Defenses have adjusted and have decent schemes to contain Lamar. They know he's only going to go to Andrews and Brown. Double the 2 of them, stack the box and now you have seriously limited the Ravens offense. Alert! Alert!!! All that aside....they are #9 in points scored and the D is #1 in points surrendered. You can get to the playoffs with those numbers...yet they will be knocked out fast if this offense doesn't develop. There is too much talent for it to continue to be this erratic. They have to figure it out fast because after Philly looms the gauntlet of Pittsburgh, Indy, Patriots, Titans, Pittsburgh. 5 key games. Similar to the "Murders Row" that they traveled down around the same point of the season last year. Lamar was off due to not practicing last week and some knee issue. It looks like Roman did not want Lamar to run. He figured "Let's get an ugly win and live to play for another day." Mission accomplished. "His best thinking to not run! is fast becoming a deep cosmic mystery, buried in a black hole, beyond sight and sound...beyond frigging mind!!!" "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Screw having an identity! Screw building upon or maintaining the 2019 #1 rushing offense! Who needs 206 yards per game!!!!! I can hear Roman's thinking..."I'll get even with Eric and not play his #1 pick in the draft Dobbins. Can't have 1 carry for 34 yard over shadow my 'make Lamar look like Brady passing game' !" Let's throw! To 2 guys! How many catches did Boykin and Snead have?!... 0! OK...they block. Defenses are good with that. ........EVERY TIME DUVERNEY TOUCHES THE BALL HE MAKES PLAYS!!!! Do Not Use HIM!!!!!!!!! Because Andy Reed would have started him day 1. The defense is coming along. Great stats. Look who they played! They better not get all comfy in a warm pile of shit because there's a tsunami of games coming up....not OC waves....Wiamea Bay shit like waves! But damn! Humphrey is amazing. Pay attention. Players don't have too many seasons like he's having. This is something special that is happening. Queen is getting better every week. My brother and I commented "Ray Lew Jr."......not to put a curse on him. The man is a baller. We had a McPhee sighting. Great game Very disciplined. .5 solo tackles, 1 sack. 4 QB hits. 1 tackle for a loss. Not too shabby. Now can he do this against the big boys? Fergusen solid game. He keeps getting better. Elliot, Clark, Peters, Smith...good show! Even Orlando Brown Jr had a tackle! ...on Lamar's INT. "OK....Ok... time to calm down. 4-1. Love it! You play who's on the schedule....not their fault....we're a little spoiled....and just remember: fans of the Yets, Falcons, Jaguars, Bengals, Texans, Chargers, Broncos, Vikings, Lions, 49ers, and the whole NFC East division! would love to have their team competing and playing like the Ravens. But alas...their eyes burn....their minds hurt. Let us be sympathetic and send them a card with our best wishes....
  17. That's what I thought when the fly landed on his head.....fly landing on shit. He's had all these symptoms for a very long time. I think he's in total meltdown right now. He knows this race is out of control and he is losing....bad. He's freaking.
  18. I'm getting very concerned about Lamar's health. Nice "no Answer" by Roman. Yea tsylvl...I have no faith in RG3. Give me Trace.
  19. Sun scouting report...
  20. From Prisco....a long time Raven hater....
  21. "What do you think Mike?
  22. Trump is done. Taylor Swift just came out and endorsed Biden. The only polls that matter are polls of Americans and these don't matter. Voting matters.
  23. 81.6% win probability. Ravens favored by 13.5 points. I don't see it being that lop sided now that the Bengals have Burrow. Note: They have a decent rushing attack with Mixon and Bernard. One huge key is containing Mixon who ran for 151 yards and 2 TD's and caught a pass for another. Queen has work to do....the D line too! Nevertheless it could be a "one way" game. The Bengal defense surrendered 25 points to the Jaguars and the Ravens have a ridiculous winning record against rookie QB's. Something like 16-2 and they have the best home record against rookie QB's since 1996. We'll see how the Bengal defense does against Lamar and Co. I'm looking for some more Lamar highlight reel plays. Team Stats Points Per Game 24.8 30.5 Points Allowed Per Game 24.8 18.3 Total Yards 391.0 359.0 Yards Passing 280.3 198.3 Yards Rushing 110.8 160.8 Yards Allowed 409.3 388.3 Pass Yards Allowed 250.8 290.8 Rush Yards Allowed 158.5 97.5 Look out for Fire Quote: “Man, we have to do a lot better,” Jackson told Humphrey while the Ravens wrapped up a 31-17 victory at Washington. "We should be coming off the field with our touchdowns,” Jackson said. "That’s why I was down for real.” A few words from our good friend John Eisenberg: Somethings to look for: Can Lamar get the timing and accuracy down on the deep ball with Brown. Can he get it together with Boykin? He needs to. Andrews can't be his only play maker. Will Duverney see more time and production? Where's Snead this year? Can the Ravens find their hot hand, #1 RB and keep feeding him? The trio thing is not working....then again the O line is a ghost from last seasons. Can they take a step forward? Can the defense cover the middle of the field? Can RG3 do a better Lamar impersonation than the 3 carries for 3 yards performance last week? Yea...and the 0-1 passing that was an Int? Will we see some more of this? And finally....when will they generate consistent pressure and sacks? When?! Here's hoping the Ravens go to 4-1 (better than last year) and take another step forward toward solidifying their Team identity for the 2020 season.
  24. According to Wall Street............. It's worth the read. https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/06/business/economy-election-blue-wave-goldman-sachs/index.html
