  1. Did we? Rigth he is not that big and that could be the problem. In 2006 he was a positive input, in 2007 not, and then reliable in 2008. As I recall he had only one full match as C. In 2007 a 20-3 win vs Rams.. Hardly that match you are thinking about. In that match with him and JB and 3 rookies, however my focus was not on him but the rookies mainly Gaither. Do you recall that match? What more do we really know... as for him being C.?
  2. Come on Adam S! Maybe you just should just make less comments. The world is full of former Ravens coaches who is now HCs, why not Lions or Browns they could probably use him, what about Broncos, who btw only have a former Ravens who is DC, they could probably use him at least as much. And why not a BB who is now HC in Patriots but started in Baltimore for 100 years ago, or Cards, 49ers, Jags, Bungles and so on. Neither Jets or Ravens (As for now we already have eigth DLs in 2009) makes much sense, except bad work.
  3. This phone number thing is ridiculos. I thought Ray paid 1000 peoples, like an agent with another 1000 people working for him! Wtf is he doing if not taking cares of little things like that. Now we have a top five D and a Ed Reed in his prime. I believe this is the good moment (if any), when we say goodbye to mr. Ravens, better moment than last year anyway. He migth have 2-4 years left, and he migth be injured early next season. A reasonable deal well okay, if not.. Time to move on without the reason why I became a Raven
  4. Pittman has been with Texans lately.
  5. Releasing C-mac, damned. Leaving us with Stover and Ray from 2000 who btw is FAs. Both of them are gone too? Matt, well a one year deal perhaps, he has been declining for the last two seasons. Ray, I would love a one year deal, not happening. 2-4 years not really and not for 15 +15 mil or more. Time to move forward without Ray. In a way it make sense, if we let them go. New coach, new people and new era. Releasing C-Mac now means we are going to make someone rich one of the next days, hopefully three of them. And if it will be Scott and Suggs and then tag JB I like it. Thanks Chris!
  6. Wrong he is RFA, but you are rigth it would be nice if we gave him a long termed deal just like with Katula last year.
  7. We will probably have a hard time signing all of them, and just like it was time to say goodbye to BB and JO last year, I think it migth be the rigth time for Ray now. I know Ray had been the keystone and his last three seasons has been a step forward! Signing Ray for one year or two, nice.. Not happening, signing him for more than that? He just played all games, how many more seasons is that going to happend? Unlikely but Farewell and thanks! In that case and if we cut C-mac whom I love so much, we should retain Scott, Suggs and JB. 1. In that case resigning Bart Scott is much more important. I know he has not delivered big time stats, but he has been very reliable, he is a leader, he has proved he can deliver when Ray has been out, and except for the pats game last year, he has been very disciplined for a long period. Actually there was some episodes this year, where he calmed down teammates. Btw without Ray and Bart, who should be our ILBs? Nick Greisen as the leader with experience.. not bad but Scott is just better. And a rookie, Gooden, McClain, Burgess or JJ.. I am not sure I like any of those as our starting ILBs next season and it would be hurting us a lot, there is a reason why Steelers and Ravens is the elite, we are not foolish and we are not skipping two starters, one is enough. Resign Bart! 2. Terrell Suggs was asked to deliver this season, and he did. Resign! 3. JB was arguably our best player in 2007, our OL is progressing and letting him go now, would be a setback. Resign! Btw in Ozzie we trust, and probably with some surprises, just like that F. Washington pick.
