Jesus I guess jail birds is more appropriate then rat birds. Haha every teqm goes through this though. Next up in our division is the Browns as the Bengals amd Steelers have had their turn and the ravens are going through it now. Normally it follows losing a lot of your locker room leadership faster then you can replace it.

Awesome this makes for another Reed VS TROY arguement for raven and Steelers fans. I loved those. Only this time they are both out of the same draft class. Hopefully Mosley can stay healthy for you guys and heres to watching the race for defensive rookie of the year.

Mobie about Mike Webster filming soon
thesteelhurtin replied to thesteelhurtin's topic in Pittsburgh Steelers
yeah a 300 pound man isn't supposed to run sub 4.7 in the 40 and it happens more and more. I know medicine has come a long way but the recovery time for some of these players is absurd. They are saying Valesco might be ready foe a team by training camp and he tore his Achilles in week 15. -
Should offensive pass interference be a spot foul, too?

Absolutely agree with this. 1st and 25 you pretty much have to pass all three downs. -

The Steelers won more then the Raiders did so they have the bigger target. Athletes are always going to try to gain and edge over their opponent and im sure there are performance enhancing drugs out there rught now the NFL cant detect. PEDs will always be part of the game. -

so what you're saying is they broke no rules. Also it started in the 50s and Haslett didnt come to the team until what 79 so how the hell does he know what went on before that. -

look im not denying some of the Steelers mainly if not only the offensive line was roiding up but if you think every team didn't have a few juicers you're kidding yourself. The NFL obviously wasn't too concerned since they didn't ban them until when 89 and they was inly because they were pretty much forced to -

Everything I have read is it was only the oline in Pittsburgh. Every team had people using them. -

I seem to remember a certain actor dieing recently and he was right around the age the few Steelers who died were. Also the 80s is when steriod usage was at an all time high after being started in the late 50s. -

his was concussions and there is plenty of evidence of that. Every team had players doing them and they broke no rules. -
Its about his life after football and his brain after death. Will Smith will play the Dr that worked with him before he dead and examined his brqin after. I believe its Dr Omalia or somwthing like that. I'm looking forqard to this movie though I'm sure the NFL is not.

I think they need to get rid of pass interference being a spot foul completely. Make it a 15 yard penalty and a first down anf move on. Too many times a close call or even a judgment call changes the outcome of tye game. -
Torrey Smith quietly enters his contract year

5 is nowhere near top wr money. Double digits is top WR money. Hell Wallace is making 16 million a year to do nothing. -
Some kids just can't get there heads straight. What a waste of talent.

you wouldnt be pissed? I hope it motivates him which it probably will. The bottom line is he chose to take it to stay in Pittsburgh.

This is totally disgusting and Pittsburgh is getting the blame when there were just aw many people from WV and Ohio there. I mean come on I was at the 08 AFC championship game and it was nothing lile this. Ive been to a bunch of concerts amd never seen anything lile this but then again I've never been to a country show. I wish they woupd just stop having them there and go out into tye country and have it at star lake or whatever they call it now.
