I think they normally keep like 1.5 or so I think last year was when less then that. I do think they are going to bring silverback and the beard back as mentors for this extremely young defense.

I just have no faith is Spaeth as a number 2 TE. Maybe Paulson makes the jump and finally learns how to block but I just don't see that happening. They got that Blanchflower kid from UMass but he is a project at best. Another option would be is to sit on it and hope their is a camp casualty corner but that's rare.

The steelers now have 7.8 million in cap space. After they sign their top 4 picks they will have 5.8 million. Now the question is what do they do with it? Do they wait for the end of the preseason or work out extensions or sign some if the high risk high reward free agents that are left. My hope is a little bit of all three or keep some for the regular season or to carry over to next year. I want them to take a shot at Finley. If he is healthy him and miller would make for a nice pairing.

Wasnt he part of the mutiny against Harb?
-
Do you guys think this would still be happening if Lewis was in the locker room?
-
Wrong ike Kaycee Like was cut to make room for a corner from the dolphins
-
The steelers released ike taylor. He had a great run for the steelers and in his prime could basically remove half the field. Hands of stone but was a great cover corner who would lay you out in a second.

Ravens sign first-round pick C.J. Mosley
thesteelhurtin replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
Its not really that difficult anymore with the rookie cap being in place it really just comes down to wording. Gone are the days of a rookie hold out unless he just doesn't want to play for that team. They know you are getting x amount of dollars and that's it. -
They already have him penciled in as the starter and getting all the OTAs and camp in the starter role will help him out tremendously
-
haha that's funny

I didn't get it either I figured it would have been a link to acop car.

The Baltimore Ravens practicing at a penitentiary near you.

I think that press conference made the situation worse and the live tweets were an epic fail. I know the chick had something to do with it but why in the hell would you tweet her apology furthermore why would you have her apologize at all. Like i said yes she had something to do with it but the average fan doesnt know that and legally speaking she is the victim. He isn't the only one that does it but I can't stand when a guy just stands there and reads word for word from his notes. Have notes thats fine but dont just read straight from them at least try and memorize it. No matter where you are coming from it sounds and looks fake when you do that. I have said I think RIce is a good guy who probably got caught up in the moment and did something stupid it happens as long as he learns and grows from it he will be alright. Edit I'm not blaming the presser on RIce that falls on the Ravens PR department. They really dropped the ball on this and should have never been live tweeting in the first place to me that leaves a lot of room from error while rushing to get the news out there.

How's that cheating? It's their stadium they can design it how they want. The seahawks stadium was designed for sound theirs for views and wind. Are domes cheating? Also its not like they never have to go into the open end. When they win the toss the other team has the option of which way they want to go.
-
home field advantage my friend. Are you going to say seachicken fans need to be quite?
-
I love the open end. You get a great view plus it adds anotyer element to the game with the swirling wind. What other stadium can you watch a game with the beautiful back drop of the city behind it? Hopefully they stick to not blocking the view and it will hold the sound in more so that is a good thing.
-
The open end of the stadium but they promised the design won't take away the view of the city or Mount Washington.
-
This actually bodes well for away teams also. First more seats and second this is going to change the wind pattern so maybe you can hit a field goal of beyond 50 yards in there or well 52 yards since that's the record. I'm kinda disappointed by that. I love the open end of the stadium though they say this won't change any views of the city.

They have agreed to pay for pretty much everything as well with no tax payer dollars involved. They are raising ticket prices by a dollar to pay for the new screen they are also installing. This raises their rent to 2.1 million a month.
-
Digging a little deeper he has a high vert then Austin also. Now that said measurables are only half of it so we will see wwhat the field shows. If nothing else we got an electric returner.
-
Archer is faster and stronger. He did 20 reps at the combine. I'm pretty excited about him.
-
He changed his number to 13 yesterday but this really doesn't change anything other then now he doesn't have to check in as a WR. Hopefully he turns out like Austin.
-
Good luck and here's to a good series of two teams who's fans deserve much better.
