papasmurfbell Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/07/01/ravens-expect-webb-to-be-ready-for-camp/Lost in an offseason of change for the Ravens has been a comeback of a guy who could be their most significant addition.According to the team’s official website, coach John Harbaugh said he expects cornerback Lardarius Webb to be back for training camp.Webb tore the ACL in his left knee in Week Six last year, and at least has experience bouncing back. He tore the other ACL as a rookie.Webb was limited to individual drills in OTAs, but if he returns to the form he displayed when the Ravens gave him a $50 million contract, it will provide a significant boost to a team breaking in hew parts left and right.Between replacing linebackers Ray Lewis, Dannell Ellerbe and Paul Kruger along with both safeties (Ed Reed and Bernard Pollard) and cornerback Cary Williams, the Ravens will have a new look on defense.Getting Webb back will be as much of a boost as signing Elvis Dumervil or any of the other replacements they signed. vmax Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 There were so many injuries last year. Oh well...doesn't matter...they won a Super Bowl. Webb is one of the "Key 4 Injury Rehab" players on defense that must come back healthy. Suggs, Ngata and Canty are the others. Accomplish that and this defense will be fun to watch. Quote
oldno82 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 This is good news.I've got my fingers crossed for Jameel McClain too. Quote
