Shiancoe appeared in four games for New England in 2012, all as a backup. Before his one-season stint with New England, Shiancoe played five seasons with the Vikings (2007-2011) and four seasons with the Giants (2003-2006). He’s hauled in 243 passes for 2,677 yards and 27 TDs in 10 NFL seasons, with his prime years with Minnesota, for which he was a key part of the passing game.Shiancoe, who was born in England, played collegiately at Baltimore’s Morgan State University. vmax Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 (edited) Try as I might, I cannot get excited about this. I'd rather go young...like Furstenberg...remember he had no legit QB's throwing to him last year.... For undrafted Ravens rookie tight end Matt Furstenburg, it's been a relatively quick adjustment to the NFLThrough a few training camp practices, the former University of Maryland starter has made a sound impression by flashing across the middle to make himself a target and caught the football cleanly."You've got to be consistent, blocking, catching," said Furstenburg, who caught 16 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns as a senior to finish his Terps career with 60 receptions for 769 yards and five touchdowns. "The first thing is your assignment. They've taught me a lot about some new things adjusting to the NFL."http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-rookie-tight-end-matt-furstenburg-off-to-good-start-with-ravens-20130727,0,7025788.story?track=rss Edited July 27, 2013 by vmax Quote
