Tornado700 Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Awhile back, we talked about the Ravens "on paper". All agreed that this team was pretty darned good, maybe even better than last years team- "on paper."We just watched this same team get a severe butt whoopin' by Denver, especially the defense. And now everybody's down. But why? Nothing has changed. It appears that right now this team is not playing close, as a team. Not even close. But you know what? They will because that's Harbaugh's job. And we all know the job will get done. Through practice, games, and experience, this team will get it together where they are playing as one cohesive, firing on all cylinders, well oiled machine. It happenend last year and it's going to happen again this year. Next 3 or 4 games are going to be tough, but when it happens, it's going to be worth the wait. All is good in Raven land. This is a good football team. Patience. Quote
vmax Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 I definitely agree. I don't see any posters here jumping off the bridge. Fans are just being honest about Thursdays performance and truthfully, there is cause for concern. Especially with the injuries to Jones and Oher. Before the season started, I told my son that the Ravens would have to find a way to weather the storm of the first 8 games while this team developed. I still see that. 1 Quote

SB Champs.....All yr loooooong !!!! Quote
vmax Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) Let's hope that nothing has changed... When the Ravens have previously lost by 20 or more points in the John Harbaugh era, Baltimore is 4-0 the following week. That's right. The Ravens are perfect a week after looking flawed. The Ravens' record is even more impressive after they've lost by double digits in the Harbaugh era. The Ravens are not only 8-0 following games in which they've lost by at least 10 points, but they've won that next game by an average margin of 21.1 points.Even though this is a new Ravens team, Harbaugh believes the same sense of urgency exists."We couldn’t wait to get on the field this afternoon and couldn’t wait for the team meeting," Harbaugh said. "We believe we’re capable of being a very good football team, but we’ve got to make it happen.”http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/581/ravens-know-how-to-rebound-from-routs I'm feeling good about Sunday.
