It might not have had the same drama as the Hail Mary that sent last week’s game into overtime, but Justin Tucker made the play to end it.

The Ravens kicker was named AFC special teams player of the week after hitting the game-winning field goal in overtime against the Bengals. That was a nervous time for the Ravens, after Bengals wideout A.J. Green caught a last-second heave to tie the game, after the Ravens squandered a 17-0 lead.

His kick, on a day that featured swirling winds, was his fifth-game winner in his two years in the league.

He’s hit 16 straight field goals, and is 18-of-20 on the year.

Icing the kicker statistically is a bad play. the kicker is more likely to hit the FG.

Yeah. Most kickers like the extra time to get set.

Look at the miss Cundiff had against the Patriots. He blamed it on being too rushed into the kick. He thought Harbs would call a timeout to give him time to get set.

How many kicks have you seen missed when a timeout was called just before the snap and then when given a 2nd chance the kicker nails it?
