thesteelhurtin Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Reworked their contracts no word if it's an extension or a pay cut they are both in their final year of their contracts so it has to be one or the other. 1 Quote
ravinmaniac52 Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 NFL will Miss Troy when he goes, mostly his hair though. And why aren't you in here wishing Rocky a happy birthday? Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 NFL will Miss Troy when he goes, mostly his hair though. And why aren't you in here wishing Rocky a happy birthday?I did on Facebook. Yeah troy is a once in a lifetime player. It's sounding like he took a pay cut. Damn if he left that would really only leave Ben, Suggs, and flacco from then the rivalry was the hottest. This is me assuming ike and Woodley are gone. 1 Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 Heath got a 2 year extension knocking about 4 million off his cap hit I'm guessing Troy's will be about the same. 1 Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 Troy extended to 2016 no info on money. Now cut Woodley, Taylor, Levi Brown and extend Ben and go sign some actual FA 1 Quote
cravnravn Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Troy needs to retire, he is robbing the Steeler organization blind 1 Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 Troy needs to retire, he is robbing the Steeler organization blindI think he has a year or two left in him. What people don't realize is he was basically playing ilb last year. Also this deal creates 4.5 million is savings so once they cut Brown they will be under the cap with a slew of moves still to come. I'm just happy heath and troy are going to retire steelers. 1 Quote

This is me assuming ike and Woodley are gone.At least if he did he was smart enough to take a pay cut, knows what he is doing. I really though we might have seen the last Troy this past season, good to see a football player hanging around if he can still bring it. Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 Levi Brown, Curtis Brown, and Larry Foote have all been released clearly almost 9 million dollars. 1 Quote

thesteelhurtin Posted March 6, 2014 Author Posted March 6, 2014 pretty friggin sad since the cap just went up 12 million dollarsyou'll find out what it is like once flaccos money starts going up. 1 Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted March 6, 2014 Author Posted March 6, 2014 No way, he will restructure in two seasonsOK so he will do what Ben has been doing and pushing his cap hit higher and higher. And what if he refuses are the Ravens going to cut him? 1 Quote
cravnravn Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Brady's restructuring has been very cap friendly, his contract will be along those lines. Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 Brady's restructuring has been very cap friendly, his contract will be along those lines.so you think flacco is going to sign a new deal two year into it for less money? No way is that going to happen. Also Marsha's deal looks good on paper until you look at guaranteed and then you see it is not team friendly. Quote
cravnravn Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 No after year 3 of the contract that's when the hits become big, Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 No after year 3 of the contract that's when the hits become big,you are kidding yourself if you really think that is going to happen Quote
cravnravn Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 His cap hit is 15 mil, he'll be restructured Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 His cap hit is 15 mil, he'll be restructuredRestructured means that his cap hit gets bigger. No way is he going to sign an extension 3 years in when the big money comes into play. The only thing saving the Ravens is that the cap is supposed to explode. Quote
