From the Ravens website....

J. Jones Visiting Giants (5:45 p.m.)
Wide receiver and return man Jacoby Jones is testing the free agency waters. Jones has a visit planned with the New York Giants Wednesday, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson. The Ravens reportedly extended a contract offer to Jones, but he is still looking to determine his value on the market. Jones has been with the Ravens the last two seasons. The two sides are still discussing a possible return, per the report.

CB Graham Visiting Redskins (5:14 p.m.)
Cornerback Corey Graham hit free agency Tuesday, and he will test the market by taking a trip down the road to meet with the Washington Redskins, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. Graham was the Ravens' No. 3 cornerback last season and is also a former Pro Bowl special teamer. Graham did express interest in staying in Baltimore at the end of last season and the Ravens would like to see him return.

Ravens Talking About TE Daniels (3:27 p.m.)
The Texans officially released tight end Owen Daniels within an hour of free agency’s opening Tuesday, and NFL Media’s Aditi Kinkhabwala reports that his name has “come up several times” at Ravens headquarters. A person within the organization reportedly says new Ravens Offensive Coordinator Gary Kubiak, who coached Daniels in Houston, “loves him.”

Big fan of a possible Daniels pickup, he should come cheap and I love bringing guys in that know the offense.

Pettigrew is my big wish at TE, but curious to see what kind of $ he commands.

The Baltimore Ravens need a free safety, but they weren't involved in any of the signings in the first 2 1/2 hours of free agency.

Here are the six safeties that signed quickly Tuesday: Donte Whitner to Browns for four years, $28 million; Antoine Bethea to 49ers for four years, $23 million; T.J. Ward to the Broncos for a deal that averages $5.5 million; Malcolm Jenkins to the Eagles for three years, $16.25 million; Mike Mitchell to the Steelers for five years, $25 million; and Ryan Mundy to the Bears for a two-year deal. Plus, Louis Delmas signed a one-year, $3.5 million with the Dolphins on Monday.

Where does that leave the Ravens? With not many options.....http://espn.go.com/blog/nflfreeagency

My guess is Ozzie waits a few days and let's the over priced players land elsewhere. then he'll get the bargans. He always does.

They need Daryl Smith.

In completely unrelated news, Julius Peppers, Jared Allen, and Demarcus Ware are all Free Agents. Actually might have been a good year to let Suggs' go into such a loaded market for Vet pass-rushers. Could've kept him on the cheap or picked up somebody else likely.
