52isUnstoppable Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 marvin Lewis, really? Whoa. two non-losing years out of what 7 or 8 years? what a coach. The guy that had how many top 10 draft picks and one of the best recieving corps in the league. In the mean time jim caldwell goes 14-0 as a rookie. Big deal.

vmax Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 What a joke!Did they see the last 6 games the Bengals played/folded?
BengalBilly Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 What a joke!Did they see the last 6 games the Bengals played/folded?I think they just looked at Cincy sweeping the AFC North.
deeshopper Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 If the Browns go 8-8 next year, their coach will get it too!
thundercleetz Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 I think they just looked at Cincy sweeping the AFC North. And ignored Indy sweeping the just-as-tough AFC South?
BengalBilly Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 And ignored Indy sweeping the just-as-tough AFC South? The Colts do that almost every year. Well maybe not every, but when was the last time Indy did not win their division? I can't remember.
SpearSrai Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 I was sure that Josh McDaniels was going to win coach of the year... ...and then his team came to Baltimore. It was all downhill after that.
supaflysteeler Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 I thought Rex Ryan or Sean Payton deserved it.

True, I guess it would not make much sense to have the Coach of the Year and the league MVP on the same team. I mean how hard is it to coach a league MVP? Nevertheless, I am not sure how Sean Payton was not the coach of the year then.
