I keep hearing Chad P may be a casualty cap in Miami. With the possible release of Troy S and the need for a vet QB,

would Chad P makes sense in B'more.

I doubt it would make sense for Pennington, probably still think he can be a starter and why not... So Vikes, Panthers, Browns, Rams, Broncos, and even Lions and Jets would make more sense.

My money's on the vikes. They have the receiving core right now, and rb. They just need a good qb that's not going to contemplate retirement anytime soon. They hate t-jack over here

There is no way in hell the Vikings are bringing in another big name QB. Even without Favre, they still have Jackson and Rosenfels under contract.

McNabb to the Vikes is a real possibility if Favre retires. It makes perfect sense, McNabb has played under Childress's system his whole career. There would really be no learning curve. Anyways, I think Pennington would be a real good backup and mentor for Joe if the price was right.

Exactly. There is no reason to let him go. unless they feel they need to get a better #2 QB.

As far as Ozzie is concerned he's under contract and he's not even thinking about Troy Smith this off season. That's a problem solved (back up QB)....one less worry/need to fill. For him to think about Troy, some team would have to call him with a good offer...a GOOD offer because letting Troy go immediately creates a big hole/need to fill....one that could be costly.
