The Baltimore Ravens received three compensatory picks in the 2016 draft, which means they will select seven times in the first four rounds.

The Ravens were awarded two additional picks in the fourth round (132nd and 134th overall) and one in the sixth round (209th). Baltimore already had selections in the first (No. 6 overall), second (No. 36), third (No. 70) and fourth rounds (101st and 127th, which came in the trade with Denver for offensive lineman Gino Gradkowski). Baltimore had the potential to receive four comp picks after losing five unrestricted free agents last offseason (wide receiver Torrey Smith, linebacker Pernell McPhee, tight end Owen Daniels, quarterback Tyrod Taylor and safety Darian Stewart) and signing only one (safety Kendrick Lewis). But only the contracts of McPhee, Smith and Daniels qualified for the 32 comp picks awarded by the NFL.

7 picks in the first 4 rounds....

The Ravens now have nine total picks in the 2016 draft:

First round: No. 6 overall

Second round: No. 36 overall

Third round: No. 70 overall

Fourth round: Nos. 101, 127, 132* and 134*

Fifth round: None (swapped picks with Denver in Gradkowski trade)

Sixth round: Nos. 182 and 209*

Seventh round: None (traded to Miami for cornerback Will Davis)* -- Compensatory picks

That's not bad. Ozzie can do some good hunting in this years draft.

One of the best ever? The reason Ozzie is getting these comp picks is because he drafts so well and

near the bottom of the draft. Everyone wants who he doesn't want like Kruger the Beat-lol.
