vmax Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 The Los Angeles Chargers are still hoping that first-round pick Mike Williams, who has shown some encouraging signs after receiving a second epidural, will not need surgery on his herniated disk, league sources tell ESPN.The rookie receiver recently was given the epidural in a last-ditch effort to get him ready at some point during training camp, but sources said he is not expected to be ready for the start of camp and there is concern that he could need season-ending back surgery.....http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/20105594/mike-williams-los-angeles-chargers-need-surgery He wasn't available when the Ravens picked but ...Wow....it would have been real nasty here in Ravens Land if they had got him somehow. ravinmaniac52 Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 Wasn't he hurt when they picked him? I wonder If Oz would have taken him after the Anthony Poindexter thing. And wasn't that the deal with that TE also?Maybe that DE out ND? Quote
tsylvester Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 No, he got hurt in their first practice. I would not be surprised if this was related to his neck injury, which then lead to cervical stinosis, which can/ does leave one prone to herniated/ slipped discs. Quote
