deeshopper Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 I'm actually watching the NFL Network replay... I'm sick. Yeah, you need help. I saw on my guide and said F you, NFL Network.
millz58 Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 I like watching most replays, they really help me absorb the game without the emotional immediacy of first-time viewing; in fact they really do help me get rid of my emotions about the result and check out the performance more clearly. this is catharsis, not obsession.

Now THAT'S Obsession: For Older Fans. p.s. maybe Junkie = OBSESSION - Desire; and I remember how REALLY empty I felt after the losses to Steelers in AFCCG and Colts after 13-3 with bye; I'm glad I didn't have NFL network then. I would've been laying down in the middle of Harford road.

yagersports Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Dont know what it is, but this loss has CRUSHED me!!! And then hearing that the Jets take down the Pats, and we could of had the AFCCG HERE!!! Today is my first visit to the board since the loss. Crav, I hear ya. This loss has left me with nothing left for the season. I attempted to watch the Bears Pack game, but there's just nothing left for me this season. That was as bad a loss as one could handle. We should seriously consider every option going forward. There is not a single person on this team that should be considered untouchable. We need to be in the habit of trading back to get more draft picks if possible. We've been missing in the draft horribly and it's starting to show. If the right offers come around, guys like Flacco and Rice should not be considered undealable. I'm not saying haphazardly trade them away, I'm saying this team should be listening to offers. All serious offers should be considered. There's nothing left to mortgage. A retool seems inevitable as the teams above us are just better and we have no one waiting in the wings ready to step up.
