Last weekend was so much fun watching football because of all the playoff implications for so many teams. I was a multi tasking fool. I fully watched every snap of the Ravens game. I kept switching to NFL Red Zone during time outs and quarter changes. I had my Galaxy Note Book continuously open and smoking on the scores and stats section of ESPN. Use this link....NFL Football Scores - NFL Scoreboard - ESPN

I was in Football Nirvana. Because the Ravens were handling business. 😎 :gorave:.....while others were losing their grip on the end of a slick rope.

The Ravens have more business to handle against the Bengals. Win and they are in.  If they fail, there is a good chance (not no chance) that the Ravens fans, team and organization will be "sent forth unto the weeping and gnashing of teeth." The Team will enter Valhalla...the Halls of the Slain. Where they will be joined by many.:cryin1:

So here we are. Week 17. And it looks to be a wild weekend. Clean your TV screens, charge up you iPads, Note Books, lap tops and cell phones. Have the NFL Red Zone channel tuned in so you can flip back and forth (channel 835 on verizon fios).

You know the drill: Have food cooked and prepared for fast food access... Any Family and children who are not watching (this should be addressed) need to be warned to not to disturb you unless blood is shooting out all over the place. And of course, it is safe to go to the bathroom when Tucker takes the field...tenor.gif?itemid=10937040

The point of this post is to provide a reference guide for Sundays games. We value service to our members and guests.....and...

So here's the whole schedule thanks to the hard work of The Sporting News. Very Reputable! And...It works nicely with my life long motto of "Why do the work if somebody else will do it?"

Simplified AFC senario:

Quote

If the Baltimore Ravens, Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins all win this Sunday -- which I deem as likely -- then it will be the Colts who are given a long offseason. They would become just the third 11-win team in NFL history to miss the playoffs. AFC playoff race: Ranking the five 10-5 teams and their chances of making a deep postseason run (msn.com)

While we are score board Sunday watching, here is another thing to keep in mind. It may spark your rooting interest.

Playoff seeds.

Right now, I think the easiest road to the AFC Championship and Super Bowl would be as a 5th seed. I have to laugh at that. Like there is any easy road.:fishin:

We probably shouldn't care, because the Ravens had the hardest path to their Super Bowls wins in 2000 and 2012. That worked out to our satisfaction. images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTEzzetFfxvEqhGlDVcS9p

So here's how the Seeds play out in the AFC:

Here’s how they could end up anyThe Ravens’ playoff picture is complex. Here’s how they can get the No. 5 seed — or miss it altogether. (msn.com)where from the No. 5 seed to out of the playoff field altogether:

No. 5 seed

If the Ravens win Sunday, only a Dolphins win would deny them the AFC’s top wild-card spot and relegate them to the sixth seed, behind Miami.

In all eight scenarios in which the Ravens are the No. 5 seed, they would face the Colts or Titans in the wild-card round. Tennessee has the inside track to the No. 4 seed; only a loss and an Indianapolis win would send the Titans tumbling.

No. 6 seed

There are 12 scenarios in which the Ravens end up with the sixth seed. Most involve a Ravens win and a Dolphins win.

If the Ravens lose and Miami wins, they would also end up at No. 6 if the Bills, Steelers, Texans and Jaguars win, or if the Bills, Steelers, Titans and Jaguars win.

The Steelers and Bills can’t fall lower than the No. 3 seed, which plays the No. 6 seed.

No. 7 seed

There are only eight scenarios in which the Ravens end up with the last wild-card spot. All entail a Ravens loss and an upset by at least one of the three significant underdogs (Pittsburgh, Jacksonville or Houston).

In all but two of those scenarios, the Bills would earn the No. 2 seed and face the Ravens.

Miss playoffs

There are only four scenarios in which the Ravens do not qualify for the postseason:

Look at You!

Look at this beautiful message board! Look at all the wild and crazy shit we can do! And not be banned!:yeah:

RedZone was wild today. Skippy was in his glory.  A record 96 touchdowns scored. Although my eyes are heading south, I think I will watch the WTF team game now.
