He was far more than a football player, far more than a Hall of Famer, sure, he didn't make it as an actor, he left the NFL early, but he used his fame to try and help others step out from under the boot of this world.

There is only 1 left from that meeting with Ali.  HE was one I had always wanted to meet.  Im not a huge Lax fan but I do respect it.  Ppl say even now he may have been the greatest player of the game ever.

He was the greatest back I've ever seen play. Relentless as he ran over and through defenses with guys hanging off him. Fast too.

I'll never forget the match-ups he had with another great, Sam Huff.
