papasmurfbell Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Going back to the debate about the best te in team history. Shannon yesterday said he had to talk with ray and rod that he would get the offense turned around. They just had to keep the defense going while the offense was getting fixed. I don’t see that leadership on this team. Quote
tsylvester Posted October 9 Author Posted October 9 Roquan was that leader last year, it appears, so far, Lamar and Derick have stepped up as well. Sharpened was great, how good could Heap have been with a real quarterback? He was outstanding to begin with, but man he might have made the Hall. I will never forget that catch, run, dive he made in the Chargers game, unreal. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted October 9 Posted October 9 I am only looking at leadership. I don’t see it except roquan. Marlon doing ig live on the plane should stop. Quote
tsylvester Posted October 9 Author Posted October 9 "At the end of the day, we have to be better at our jobs, and that goes back to each and every person doing their one-[of]-11 [matchup]," Smith said. "I think that starts with myself, looking [at] myself in the mirror, and making sure I'm on my stuff every single day and echoing that down to the rest of the guys on the defensive side of the ball https://www.si.com/nfl/ravens/news/roquan-smith-addresses-baltimore-ravens-struggling-defense Quote
oldno82 Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Larmar is definitely a leader on offense and it's true Henry is quickly developing into one also. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Where have you seen Lamar as a leader? I haven’t seen Henry in a leadership role yet. Quote

Just listen to other players, even some in media, they will tell you that behind the scenes, Lamar is quite different this year, far more of a leader in word and work. Quote

I saw pouty Lamar when something went bad in the kc or lv game. That does not instill confidence in leadership to me. Quote
tsylvester Posted October 10 Author Posted October 10 Ever see Brady when things go wrong with his team? Yeah, pouty, sad, mad, belligerent. No great looking leadership in those cases. Looks can be deceiving. Listen to VanNoy, who knows about leadership, yes? Quote
oldno82 Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Yes...if we're going to go on 'pouty', then Brady, the GOAT, would have a zero in leadership. Members of the O-line have also talked up Lamar's increased leadership role this year. Quote
