Media and their short memory, praising Tomlin for "switching" to Wilson from Fields even though the team was winning.

Um, Tomlin said before the season began that Wilson was qb 1, then when Wilson got hurt in the preseason, said he would go back to qb1 when healthy

So, how again did Tomlin "switch" to Wilson?

Bc the team was winning with the backup.

It was an anemic offense with Fields in there, easy call to make

But they were winning.

Meh, Wilson was named as fhe starter, got hurt, Coach says Wilson will remain starter when healthy..

No big deal to make the change, especially since or because Fields and the offense were so bad.

It would be one thing if the offense was producing, but it was not.

So the love fest for Tomlin being a genius for this move is fodder

It’s a gutsy move.  Most coaches are risk adverse.

Wilson is done as a Steeler, may be done in the league. The blue print to stop him is out.

They will go with Fields as many talking heads have said, their best chance right now.

I said that.  I would ink him to a very team friendly deal to work on his throwing.

You should check out the Jason Garret YouTube show for NFL films on the evolution of throwing. It is fantastic and Fields could benefit from it.

He also has to learn how to read defenses post snap, like Wilson, take away his first read, he panicks. His saving grace is he can run, Wilson can't any longer

True.  But the raw talent is there and chi wasted it.  They did everything to ruin him.  Take their mistake clean the grime off and start molding.  Add into the contract an incentive for off season classroom and drill work.
