Something else that was funny was watching the closed captioning trying to interpret what Artie was saying!

He was always great with Dave.  I have thought for some time that they should make a movie out of part of fatso.   If I did the closing credits would be one of the Dave appearances.

Artie was great, always took time to speak woth the fans. What I found so amazing was how short he was yet that didn't stop him from being a great NFL player

I never saw him in person.  But with the interviews and tv spots over the yrs I felt like I knew him.

I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times at various gatherings, always a smile and a hand shake, and very happy to share stories of his old colt days over a few beers.

I’m sure.  He seemed just like he appeared on tv.  A joker and out for a good time.

I really miss the times he was the color man on Colts' preseason TV. I'll never forget him referring to a LB prospect named Tony Bertucca and saying his name as Tony Bazooka.

Would have been a great show if fhey could have had Goose and Artie on the same stage for an hour long dialogue
