tsylvester Posted Thursday at 02:15 PM Posted Thursday at 02:15 PM Houston, we have a problem, as the saying goes. Yes, our fans are wondering if aliens, the ones from outer space, have taken over this team. The Ravens, once a highly thought of top team to win the Super Bowl, are now just a sad story of a powerless space ship a drift in the vastness of the universe. The Texans too were once a team thought to be on the rise. But they limp in with the same record, 1-3, trading off almost half of their offensive line in the past few weeks. Both teams are desperate, the Ravens will likely be with out Lamar and possibly as many as 5 other starters for this game. A rash of injuries has apparently stricken this team, testing their depth, testing the fire in their hearts and that of the fans. A loss for either team would surely end their hopes of the post season. So, who ya got? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted Thursday at 06:13 PM Posted Thursday at 06:13 PM I think Houston gets healthy for a week on us. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted Thursday at 06:14 PM Posted Thursday at 06:14 PM Btw I’ll take a xenomorph with a couple of our guys to start winning. Quote
tsylvester Posted Thursday at 06:18 PM Author Posted Thursday at 06:18 PM Buck Rogers may be the only one who can save this season! Their line is worse than the Ravens, I think that gets a few extra sacks to make the difference, Ravens wins a field goal game! Hey, a guy can dream about reaching the stars, right? Quote
tsylvester Posted Thursday at 06:49 PM Author Posted Thursday at 06:49 PM 14 players either missed practice yesterday or left early; 4 hamstrings, 5 with other muscle related, ie calf (3) groin (1) etc.. Texans only had 7 on their list, 2 shoulders, 3 knees, rest and and oblique Quote
papasmurfbell Posted Thursday at 07:59 PM Posted Thursday at 07:59 PM Unless riply is on Houston I’ll take the xenomorphs. Quote
oldno82 Posted Thursday at 08:18 PM Posted Thursday at 08:18 PM Is Keaton Mitchell the xenomorph we need for this game? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted Thursday at 08:26 PM Posted Thursday at 08:26 PM As long as his mouth shoots out and punches holes in defender sure. Quote

tsylvester Posted Friday at 05:58 PM Author Posted Friday at 05:58 PM Wiggins was back at practice, good news, even if he misses a game, it means that elbow is not as bad as it looked.. Lindy and Stanley back, though limited. Hamilton still out with the groin, VanNoy back, though I expect him to possibly be a game time decision with that hammy. Welcome to the 4077 Quote
oldno82 Posted Friday at 06:13 PM Posted Friday at 06:13 PM The Texans are coming with almost everybody healthy. They'll be hungry for a win and they'll get one. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted Friday at 06:24 PM Posted Friday at 06:24 PM If Stanley can’t practice well he is a liability game day. Quote
tsylvester Posted Friday at 07:36 PM Author Posted Friday at 07:36 PM Houston defense is not that great, inconsistent at best. It might be best to let Stanely have the game off, let Noteboom take over. I'm sure he can handle Will Anderson who is smaller, quick, but smaller... run at him, wear home down.. Quote
tsylvester Posted Friday at 08:26 PM Author Posted Friday at 08:26 PM Niners, almost as many key injuries as the Ravens, including their starting qb. Now lead their division, winning 3 games with a back up qb many thought was a bust when the season started. Now they are 4-1, no, didn't face top NFL teams, nonetheless, they won't the games they should, any way they could. Quote

tsylvester Posted Friday at 08:47 PM Author Posted Friday at 08:47 PM Now? Kyle, no doubt, great game plans, offensively, in game adjustments. But does Kyle draft Lamar? Hmmm Quote
papasmurfbell Posted Saturday at 12:41 AM Posted Saturday at 12:41 AM I don’t know. I always would have let Lamar go. My feelings on him have changed little since the draft process. Quote
tsylvester Posted Saturday at 01:35 PM Author Posted Saturday at 01:35 PM So, Lamar, Roquan, Marlo, and Riccard are out for this game. Quote

Im glad that he is our qb, the only one I would take over him is Allen, but 1) The Ravens never had a shot at him 2) would he have made the improvements here, had the right coaching to make the adjustments in his passing? papasmurfbell Posted Saturday at 06:27 PM Posted Saturday at 06:27 PM I would go mahomes so fast the whole cities heads would spin. We would have so many rings right now with the construction of the roster the way it’s been for yrs. Quote
tsylvester Posted Saturday at 11:18 PM Author Posted Saturday at 11:18 PM Have we seen enough of Arch Manning to say; he just doesn't have it? Quote
