At last, it's time for camp with veterans reporting Tuesday.

I believe I saw a blurb on TV saying WBAL TV was going to show the practice live but I have not been able to confirm that as of yet.

I dunno...I searched for it on ChatGPT and it said there are no plans 'at present' to show the whole practice live. My Verizon tv guide also doesn't show it. I'd say I was hallucinating when I thought I saw it but my wife saw it too.

In any case I'm sure they'll show some highlights from it sometime.

I'm really hungry to see the new and veteran players and especially the new coaching regime in action. Guess I'll have to wait for the first pre-season game August 15 against the Iggles.

OK here's the deal: I called wbal-tv and they are not showing it but did say that ESPN and the NFL Network are broadcasting 'look-ins' during the 11am to 1pm practice. I imagine that's about all we'll see live.

Per NBC

The stay was a short one as the Ravens announced that Madubuike has been activated on Wednesday. That clears him to start practicing with the team and clears a path for him to return to his spot on the defensive line in Baltimore.

Gee, after all that has transpired on this subject, this is certainly surprising but welcome news. Now they just have to get him into football shape by week 1. If he is even close to what he was before getting injured, this will further help the defense in its attempt to 'scare other teams'.

One thing became painfully obvious in 2025, and it was noticeable relatively early. The Baltimore Ravens' offensive line was a weak link in a strong chain. Had there been better options at midseason, Baltimore would have explored them, but alas, a retool would have to wait until the offseason rolled around this past March. The biggest news involved a subtraction. Tyler Linderbaum joined the Las Vegas Raiders.

There were additions: John Simpson, Danny Pinter, Jovaughn Gwyn, Hakeem Adeniji. Vega Ioane and Evan Beernsten were drafted. Diego Pounds and Nick Dawkins were undrafted rookies who were added to the linebacker room after the selection meeting as undrafted rookie free agents.

The retool has been discussed often. Their leader... Sure, we know who he is, but we frankly haven't mentioned him enough. Ravens camp will remedy that. As a matter of fact, it seems it already has. Dwayne Ledford wins over Ronnie Stanley.

Dwayne Ledford joined Baltimore as the offensive line coach and run game coordinator in January as part of Jesse Minter's new staff. His coaching resume spans two decades. One of his best players, Ronnie Stanley, was asked about him. The praise was glowing as Stanley wasn't stingy in his admiration.

Ledford wants his teams to "play fast". He probably won't have any issues here. Not only that. Protecting Lamar Jackson is job number one. There's another statement that probably won't surprise anyone.

Stanley's endorsement carries weight because it touched on more than just scheme or technique. Great offensive line coaches establish an identity. They know what is needed to connect with players, and that appears to be exactly what Ledford is doing.

Creating running lanes for Derrick Henry isn't a revolutionary idea, but consistent execution is what separates good offensive lines from championship-caliber ones. Baltimore invested heavily in rebuilding its front five this offseason. Now, it's Ledford's job to mold those new pieces into a cohesive unit. If Stanley's early impressions are any indication, the Ravens believe they've found the right coach to lead that transformation. Baltimore's new O-line coach may wind up being one of the offseason's most important additions.

I know Ledford is quite respected throughout the league. We're lucky to have him. And from what i've heard so far, the offensive line has bought into his approach. If any coach can turn around the line, it's him.

Okay, this is what WBAL was saying for today, see it live today, from 11 am to 1 pm

On local wbal tv, not, I'm guessing, on cable wbal.
