vmax Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Save Ray Rice... http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/feature/madden2013cover It's getting a little too close... The first round of the "Madden 13" cover vote wasn't pretty for the AFC North. Only one player from the division -- Ravens running back Ray Rice -- survived and he advances to face Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who should be considered a heavy favorite. Rice beat Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green in the first round, earning 65 percent of the vote. Steelers safety Troy Polamalu only received 28 percent of the vote in losing to Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. And Browns cornerback Joe Haden managed 21 percent in falling to Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is expected to win the tournament-style contest. Then again, considering the "Madden curse" (ask Peyton Hillis), maybe having one player remaining is a good thing for the AFC North.http://espn.go.com/blog/afcnorth/post/_/id/44882/and-then-there-was-one-in-madden-vote Quote
cravnravn Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Brees is it..... Hope Aaron Rogers wins it. Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 I voted Rice. I can't vote against a Raven. Ray Lewis was on the cover and didn't get injured.....although he didn't get an INT that season if I recall correctly Quote
cravnravn Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Ray did get injured that year, broke his wrist. Quote
