cravnravn Posted May 10, 2012 Author Posted May 10, 2012 Streeter has now signed. May 10th and ALL draft picks are in the nest. Good job Oz
vmax Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 The new rookie cap has put sanity into signing draft picks. Under the old system there would be a line of players signing their deals the day before camp. It was sicking to listen to their agents and all the posturing before they ever played a down. Now everybody can come in, get in shape, and start practicing.

It's better for the league and teams because the rookie's get in to camp and get playing right away, no learning on the fly because training camp or mini camps were missed. It's also better for agent/team relationships. You can't tell me teams don't get uber upset when an agent drives up the price for a rookie and the rook ends up being a huge disappointment.
papasmurfbell Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Yeah the new CBA makes rookie signings so much better.
