Why Webb is ranked 19th: Few cornerbacks can match the numbers posted by Webb last season. He didn't allow a single touchdown pass in 2011, and opposing quarterbacks posted a miserable 55.6 passer rating on throws into his coverage, according to Pro Football Focus. When quarterbacks did throw his way, Webb made them pay, recording eight interceptions (including three in the playoffs) and breaking up 23 passes.

I love this kid, what a find by the FO. He's so good and such a good dude. Hopefully fame won't go to his head. I think we have a CB trio that is the best in the NFL. Webb, Williams, Smith.....just good good good. Hopefully their coverage will help our pass rush, usually it's the other way around.

It is a huge find, if he was that highly thought of as a college player, he would have never made it to the late 3rd round.

And Webb can thank Ed Reed for the notiority, Teams adjust their game plans and threw away from Reed..Our Right side is going to be an absolute beast this year, and if Jimmy Smith plays like Webb, look out!!

He came from Nicholls St after issues at Southern Miss. There were off field talk about him. He was on the radar. Most of these pages are gone now but this is what I found.

It is a huge find, if he was that highly thought of as a college player, he would have never made it to the late 3rd round.

 

Bingo, we got a 1st rd cb in the 3rd rd. On top of that he's not a primadonna and I hope he doesn't become one. He's a lot of fun to watch.

 

Papa go find somewhere else to be negative. If you're so damn smart, if you're so much better, why aren't you running things? Cmon man, Webb was passed over by alot of people and we snagged him. He was a good find in the 3rd round. Why argue this? What sense does it make?

I never was negative about Webb. I just said he was on the radar. The main thing about him at the time was the off field stuff. The talent was there and people saw it.

He's a Raven...exactly what is needed at that position.
