oldno82 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 By Mike PrestonThe Baltimore Sun 2:00 p.m. EST, January 13, 2013 The improvements in the Ravens offense during the past two weeks can be contributed to the play of quarterback Joe Flacco and the play-calling of offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell. But the most significant improvement has been the addition of left offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie.McKinnie has started the past two games, forcing tackle Michael Oher to the right side and Kelechi Osemele to start at left guard. Since then, Flacco has rarely been touched and getting more time to throw. Just think: If the Ravens had made this move earlier, they might have been the No. 1 seed in the postseason and playing every game at home.Oh well, at least they got it corrected in time to make a serious run. vmax Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 The line was terrific. Definetely made the difference. Joe had time to throw, room to move and that makes this offense deadly. Quote

OutsideRzAcE Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Yea but Mike has been implying the coaching staff screwed up when really McKinnie gave Harbs no choice by displaying poor attitude and practice habits. He realized he was going to need to showcase himself if he was going to make any money next season so he finally decided to get his ass in gear and do what Harbs required of him in order to play. Exactly this. He wasn't ready to play so didn't play. Quote
